Carr Lane's low-profile serrated edge clamps are ideal for gripping the side of a workpiece to keep the top clear for machining. The clamps are tightened with a hex wrench, allowing you to
clamp both forward and down simultaneously and are excellent for clamping round parts or corners. The compact clamps mount in a fixed position and are ideal for permanent fixtures. A double edged version is also available, suitable for holding two workpieces with a single clamp, with each nose operating independently. Both new clamps are available with high and low nose, in a variety of sizes.
The Exair threaded line vac air operated conveyors convert ordinary pipe into a powerful conveying system for parts, scrap, trim and other bulk materials. The Threaded Kine Vac attaches easily to
plumbing pipe couplers, making it easy to build a complete system using ordinary pipe and fittings available from any home center, hardware store or plumbers' supply. The conveyors eject a small amount of compressed air to produce a vacuum on one end with high output flows on the other. Response is instantaneous. Regulating the compressed air pressure provides infinite control of the conveying rate. Construction is aluminum and is available in eight sizes from 3/4" to 4" in diameter. Applications include hopper loading, scrap trim removal, part transfer and fiber filling.

Multi-wave compression springs are designed to be used when the fully compressed height of a compression spring exceeds the design height of the application. This product gives the designer the characteristics of a short installed height similar to that of a wave
washer while providing the deflection characteristics of a round wave compression spring. They are an ideal replacement for compression springs that are unable to meet the height requirements of a specific design or to increase the limited travel of a wave washer while providing the same characteristics of a wave washer. The new multi-wave compression springs are available with hole diameters ranging from 9.5mm to 25.4mm and from free height of approximately 3.8mm to 14.8mm. Other stock sizes and custom engineered designs are available upon request.
The CLM series of magnifying lights offer illumination up to 110-watts and a wider viewing area

The Spectrum® 375 CutMate™ air plasma cutter minimizes nuisance trips, withstands a 15 percent voltage drop and expands work area because it can use an extension cord up to 133 ft. long. The easy-to-use machine is designed for the HVAC, automotive, sign, maintenance, construction and light metal fabrication/repair industries. Its 27-
amp output delivers a quality cut on 1/2-in. metal and will sever 5/8 in. metal while utilizing a manual 1/16 in. standoff. With a travel speed of 16 IPM on 3/8 in. steel, it cuts faster than shears, snips, saws or oxy-fuel rigs. Advanced diagnostic LEDs simplify troubleshooting because they now indicate temporary problems with air pressure, primary power and cup. Other features include a pilot arc controller, power factor correction, line voltage compensation and diagnostic capabilities. The Spectrum 375 CutMate's pilot arc controller turns on for a few milliseconds to initiate or reignite the arc, then shuts off. This allows the machine to direct all its power to the cutting arc, increasing power from 25 to 27 amps. It also permits standoff cutting.
EFD's 2000XL dispenser uses microprocessor circuitry to remove variability from critical adhesive dispensing processes, so that identical
dots or neat, controlled beads are applied every time. It operates on compressed air and electricity and eliminates the inconsistencies encountered with hand syringes and other manual applicators. The special "teach" function helps the user determine the correct amount of adhesive to use for a given application, while digital displays of all dispensing parameters provide process control. Adhesive is contained in a disposable barrel fitted with a precision dispense tip and connected to the 2000XL console by a lightweight air line. To apply a preset amount of adhesive, the user just grips the barrel like a pen, places the tip in position and presses an electric foot pedal. Up to 8 different deposit settings can be stored in non-volatile memory and recalled at the push of a button. Tips and barrels are available in many different styles and sizes to satisfy a wide variety of dispensing requirements.
Master Conveyors is now producing 1.5 inch
hinged steel belt chip conveyors. The steel belt links and sprockets are produced in Canada. The firm custom designs and fabricates complete systems with features such as high carbon steel tracks, sealed bearings and heavy duty motors and reducers.
Noren Products developed the air-to-air heat exchanger for enclosures and now has a complete
system for most size enclosure shelters and heat loads. The compact cabinet coolers help reduce energy consumption. The products feature dust and dirt free seals. The waterproof model was developed for wash down and outdoor environment utilizing wash down fans. The air-to-water units use plant water to remove the heat in the panel or cabinet.
The LT100 Laser Tracker increases warehouse efficiency and safety while reducing damage to palletized merchandise, by providing the forklift operator with a constant visual reference to exact fork tip location. Suitable for warehouse operations where pallets are stacked over 12 feet or in low light conditions, the LT100 comes complete with a rechargeable Ni-Cad internal battery system and an infrared auto-shutoff sensor which turns the unit off below 8 feet. Forklift maintenance costs are reduced as pallet openings can be located with fewer adjustments. New operators have a faster learning curve and experienced operators can work more efficiently with reduced stress and without damage to merchandise.
Up-Down Counter industrial displays can count up to down from any preset number from 0 to 9999. Thumb-wheel switches and a momentary push-button switch provide for easy numerical set and
reset of the display. Two contact closure inputs for preset and count can be wired via a terminal strip. An SPST push-button switch on the right end plate changes the mode of the display to either up or down count. An on-board power supply is provided to hardwire a photo-eye, foot switch, push-button or other input device.
The CartCaddy's walk-behind design allows the operator to manipulate loads in tight areas where larger, more cumbersome ride-on
material handling devices will not work. When pushing or pulling material carts down a production line, or in and out of ovens, the CartCaddy will serve to reduce the risk of injuries caused by over-extending the human body. It will also allow almost any employee to move heavy loads from one point to another.
The NOX anti-vibration mount is a corrosion-proof self-
levelling system made of stainless steel for the food processing industry. The levelling system is equipped with a spherical socket joint made of stainless steel and is able to compensate a ground unevenness of up to 8°. The covering plate is screwed to the levelling system and surrounds the oil- and acid-resistant anti-vibration plate made of synthetic rubber material. The non-skid machine support with a frequency of 18 to 22 Hz offers active dampening and is useful for supporting processing machines of various kinds such as mixing and stirring machines, filling plants, passing machines, mills, conveyors and kneading machines.
Mulox offers several lines of flexible intermediate bulk containers which are suitable for the
handling of dry hazardous materials. Many options are available to accommodate special needs. Various capacities, closure and inlet/outlet configurations are available. Capacities range to 4,000 lbs with a 5:1 safety factor. The ability to coordinate container capacity with batch size eliminates the need to consolidate and handle remainders unnecessarily. They are designed for use with over-the-road, rail and sea transport with no special handling equipment. Fabric is 6.5 oz or 8 oz polypropylene. Fabric coatings and available polyethylene liners add an additional line of defense against spillage and exposure. Liners are adhered to the bag on all four sides and the bottom to keep them in place during filling or discharge. Mulox Safemaster™ anti-static, conductive bags are ideal for transporting nonconductive powders or pellets that tend to build up considerable static charge on both containers and handling equipment during filling or emptying.
EP21AN is a two-part adhesive system with a thermal conductivity in excess of 22
BTH. It is an outstanding electrical insulator with a dielectric strength of >400 volts/mil and a volume resistivity greater than 1013 ohm-cm. This
easy-to-use adhesive has been formulated with a non-critical 1/1 mix ratio, weight or volume. It cures readily at ambient temperatures or more quickly at elevated temperatures. EP21AN features excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates including metals, ceramics, glass and many plastics. Bonds exhibit outstanding dimensional stability and shrinkage upon cure is exceptionally low.

The Wickens
Chiller/Dryer receives the hot, wet, oily air from the compressor and first passes it through an air to air heat exchanger to cool the air back down to just above ambient. Because the system was designed to be portable, it uses ambient air to cool the compressed air. The cooled air is then passed through an air separator/filter canister. This unit causes the air to swirl around the outside of the bowl, water and oil are centrifugally separated from the air and flow down the outside of the bowl to collect in the bottom. An autodrain periodically purges the fluid. Integral to the system is a sintered bronze filter that removes particles greater than 40 microns. Some of the cooled and separated air is used to drive the air motor for the fan and the rest is delivered to the supply hose for the blast equipment use.
The One Series Differential Pressure switch will replace three instruments -- a differential pressure gauge, a limit switch and a transmitter -- using a single set of process connections. It
continuously monitors the status of its own health and reports it both locally and remotely. Ideal for differential pressure measurement of most pressure media, including harsh and corrosive media, flow proofing and filter blockage, the electronic switch features a rugged 316-welded stainless steel design and solid state switched output. Easy to set up and program in the field, the new instrument provides adjustable set point and
deadband.
The NBS 90™ Narrow-Belt Sorter provides a solution for right-angle sortation of cartons, trays and packaged goods on conveyor lines. When products need to be diverted onto spur lines, the NBS 90™ achieves it reliably and accurately at
speeds of up to 60 cartons per minute, or one every second. A series of narrow belts, each with individual take-up, enables the system to precisely track products as it reaches the specified sortation point, also known as the divert point.
Plastisol-coated rollers then rise up to make positive contact with the base of the product and divert it at a 90° angle, gently but positively. All kinds of products can be sorted including food, pharmaceuticals, fashion goods, electronics and many more. Divert points can be set up every 915mm which makes the sorter ideal for diverting product to individual workstations. The length of the system can run right up to 30m, which means it can accommodate more than 30 divert points, all of them activated by high-speed scanners or other control devices. Layout versatility is assured by universal mounting of divert modules, which makes repositioning in the field fast and easy.
The TREK model 152P-2P Two-Point Resistance Probe is used to perform accurate two-point resistance measurements in the range of 103 to 1013 ohms and is intended for use on objects too small to be measured using the concentric ring probe specified in the ESD Association Standard
S11.11 or too small to be measured using the point-to-point probes specified in other ESD Association Standards. Items such as thermoformed trays, tape and reel carriers and similar objects can now be accurately measured for their resistance characteristics. The unit measures 3.25" in length and 0.75" in diameter and has a 6' cable. The housing is made from a dissipative, low-sloughing material for optimum performance in ESD safe areas. The 0.125" diameter of the conductive silicone elastomer electrodes provides excellent surface contact. The compact probe design is lightweight and portable. The electrode pins can be removed for easy replacement.
The PSI-5000 high level output pressure transmitter offers pressure ranges from vacuum to 10,000
psi, all stainless steel construction, high burst pressure and accuracy to ±.25%
F.S. It features a hybrid compensation unit, zero and span adjustments, high overpressure capability, integrated electronics, and operates over a wide range of temperatures. The PSI-5000 is suitable for most static and dynamic pressure measurements where a high level output signal is desired.
The Toshiba SR-HSP series of high-speed, high-accuracy 4-axis SCARA robots are available with arm lengths of 420 to 1050 mm and payloads of 3-20 kg over 6 models. The SR-HZ series large size horizontal multi
joint robots have arm lengths of 1050 to 1950 mm and payloads of 40-70 kg over two models. Variations include Z-axis long stroke, ceiling mount and cleanroom specifications. All models are standard with absolute encoder feedback, with no home return required. The BA series of Cartesian co-ordinate robots are available in 2, 3 and 4 axis configurations. Ball screw leads of 5, 10 and 20 mm are available on a standard and long slider with stroke lengths up to 1500 mm. Applications include assembly, pick & place, dispensing, inspection and palletizing.
