PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE SENSOR
monitors air consumption

The efector Metris compressed air sensor continuously monitors compressed air systems to identify leakage areas and to improve energy efficiencies. Compressed air system leaks are typically found at pipe joints, couplings and connections. The sensor detects leakage areas by monitoring smaller areas of a plant, designated as "zones". A plant is divided into zones based on the number of fittings and potential leakage points in an area. When Metris identifies a leakage area, plant personnel can pinpoint the exact leak location and repair the leak. The sensor can be mounted in a supply pipe to monitor one machine, or mounted in a plant zone to monitor several machines.

NEMA 30mm PUSHBUTTONS AND SWITCHES

AutomationDirect has expanded their pushbutton and switch offering to include a complete new line of NEMA 30mm metal devices. The Cutler-Hammer HT800 series pushbutton models include momentary flush, extended and mushroom pushbuttons in red, green and black. They feature double V-gasket seals for ingress protection and anodized aluminum mounting rings for corrosion resistance. Colour-coded contact blocks offer quick and easy identification. Indicator lights feature optically enhanced lenses for front and side illumination. Indicator lights are available in green, red, amber, yellow, blue, white and clear. The indicator lights are offered in standard and "push-to-test" versions in 24- and 120-volt full voltages. Also available are two- or three-position selector switches in knob and lever configurations, Selector switch actuators can be adjusted in 22.5-degree increments for more versatile knob positions.

ELECTRONIC
TWO-HAND CONTROL DEVICE
for type IIIC use on presses

The PNOZe2.1p is an electronic two-hand control device for type IIIC in accordance with EN 574. It is particularly suitable for use on presses. The use of semiconductor technology means the unit is non-wearing and requires no maintenance, while also making it resistant to shock and vibration. The two-hand control device is enclosed in a 22.5mm slim-line housing and can be connected to other relays in the PNOZelog-range via logic and/or operations. It is simple to implement a complete solution comprising two-hand control, emergency stop function and operating mode selector switch, while also reducing the amount of wiring involved.
