Hoffman's fully welded heavy-duty steel open frame rack is designed to support 19-inch components used in networking and data transmission applications. Featuring a structural steel angle base, the heavy-duty steel open frame is essential in structural cabling systems where heavy loads are anticipated. To ensure rack stability, four pre-drilled holes are built into the base for bolting to the floor. Side-mounting holes are provided for multiple in-line rack applications. The Kremlin MVX Airmix® spray gun offers a broad range of pattern adjustment. This quick-change pattern adjustment allows the operator to adjust the spray pattern by turning the pattern knob and without changing tips. The SL-C series Safety Light Curtain eliminates the "dead zones" found in traditional light curtains and increases worker safety in and around hazardous areas or dangerous machinery by creating a complete "edge-to-edge" detection zone. The series incorporates a new optical system design which allows light elements to be positioned only 5mm from the edge of a light bar segment. It is virtually impossible for any part of the human body, such as workers' hands, to penetrate the light curtain into hazardous, unsafe areas. The design uses a unique "edge-to-edge" bracket configuration with a rotational mechanism enabling SL-C segments to be configured without dead zones. The bracket design enables L-shaped or U-shaped configurations to be easily con structed while maintaining the small 5mm wide impenetrable space at corners. Keyence Corporation
Barbed check valves are designed for fluid control application up to 150 psi. They are manufactured with a highly polished barb, moulded without a parting line to ensure a leak-proof seal. Threaded check valves replace one of the barbs with an 1/8-27 NPT fitting on the entrance side for use with threaded ports. The check valves use a free floating diaphragm that is sensitive to even the slightest changes in pressure or flow. Diaphragm check valves work well in any position with pressure from 1 psi to 150 psi and are available for tubing with 1/8" ID, 3/16" ID, 1/4" ID and 3/8" ID. Ark-Plas Products, Inc.
The IDS 2000 dispense pump is designed for dispensing and metering fluids used in chemical, electronics, bat tery, metal finishing, semiconductor, food processing and other industrial process environments. The integrated pump and electronics are housed in a rugged stainless steel enclosure and is suitable for wall mounting in process areas. Plast-O-Matic metering pumps are now offered with proximity switches to verify the position of the pump. The switches signal completion of the filling or discharge stroke -- or both -- enabling better process control, quality assurance and automation. The switches are designed for corrosive environments. The design uses a magnetic band built into the piston inside the pump. The switches attach externally to the pump and can be moved to sense at any desired position. The switches feature indicator lights, NEMA 6 washdown compatibility and an all-plastic housing with stainless steel fasteners. The Flexello UTP series twin-wheeled leveling casters are designed for use on appliance cabinets, medical carts and equipment, furniture, racks, and other products and equipment requiring periodic rolling and level, stationary positioning. The caster features an adjustable stem and foot for leveling that is concentric with the caster spindle. The body is constructed of high-impact nylon for strength and the stem is made of sturdy carbon steel. The caster has a load capacity of 150 kg and 66.6mm diameter Nylon 6 wheels. The FP20 swaging machine can handle hose up to 1 1/4" and has a maximum crimp diameter of 2.52" (64mm). In addition to hose swaging, it can be used in tube, pipe, cable, wire and fiberglass applications. The FP20 has 150 tons of swaging force and it is capable of 2,3000 swags per hour. Two controller styles are available. A computerized, digital VS-control guarantees the accuracy and repeatability of the swage. The MCD 200 Soft Starter covers the power range 7.5-11-kW (10-150 HP). Its latest technology, such as new semiconductor control algorithms and bypass design, ensures that the soft starters are very compact and heat dissipation is at a very low level. Expanding its line of industrial "multipole" connectors, Wieland Electric has developed the revos MOT pluggable connector for environments where typical metal hoods and housings would corrode. The high-density connector provides a reliable connection rated at IP65 (NEMA type 4). The hood and housing is constructed of lightweight, corrosion and UV resistant polyamide and is rated for operation in environments ranging in temperature from 40°C to +80°C. Wieland designed this connector with motor control applications in mind, but its compact, versatile design makes it a natural choice for any power or signal connection application. Its simple crimp installation allows a higher density pole count for space savings. The revos MOT connector consists of six basic components, including: hood, housing, female insert, female crimp contacts, male insert and male crimp contacts. The connectors have an internal metal insert with a Nylon 6/6 insulated cover. To significantly reduce delivery time, ProgramaCube® modules are pre-manufactured without a function assigned. After an order is received, the function software is added and the unit is shipped fast. This means even hard to find functions, features and options are available at standard lead times. One of the main advantages of the format is, new functions, time ranges and count ranges can be created without designing a new module. New software is inserted into the CE, UL recognized and CSA Certified solid state modules. This eliminates three of the most time consuming steps in the design process. Two new electromechanical relay modules are available for Compact FieldPoint and LabVIEW Real-Time control applications. With the cFP-RLY-421 and the cFP-RLY-423, control and design engineers can perform relay switching on high and low-voltage AC or DC signals. Because these small, rugged switching relay modules can withstand high shock, vibration and wide temperature ranges, control and design engineers can now control indicator lights, external relays, motors and power circuits in harsh environments, including embedded machine control, industrial automation and in-vehicle data logging applications. National Instruments FOUR-WHEEL STEER TRAILER This all-steel reversible four-wheel steer trailer provides a 30-ton capacity with a low deck height of only 29 1/2". Plate deck welded over structural tube frame has been built to withstand the toughest industrial applications. The trailer is 192" long and 96" wide with the low deck height of 29.5". The loop towing tongue is removable allowing the flexibility for towing from either end eliminating the need for a turnaround area. Fifth wheels at each end are connected by a structural tube tie rod that allows the trailer to maneuver in tighter spaces. Twelve 15" diameter x 9" wide Press-On Polyurethane wheels with 2" tapered roller bearings spread the load over a large area to save the floor from excessive load.
