 The PRECOTE 19-2® chemical adhesive coating provides medium strength fastening and reliable thread coverage for fasteners in sizes #10 (M5) and smaller. The pre-applied coating is a non-reactive, film-forming, resin solution for coating threaded parts. It is a physiologically harmless pre-coating for immediate locking and fixing of cylindrical and conical threads. The dried coating is tack-free and dry to the touch.

Devcon Metal Welder™ is a high-performance methacrylate structural adhesive formulated to bond metals and dissimilar substrates. With impact and peel resistance, it provides high-strength, durable bonds to a variety of metals, including aluminum, cold rolled steel, stainless steel, copper and brass. It is also effective for bonding metals to plastics and other dissimilar substrates, such as ABS, PVC, Plexiglas, PMMA, polycarbonate, polyesters and fiberglass reinforced plastics. ONE-PART EPOXIES eliminate mixing

The SC 2000 series single-component epoxies bond metal, ceramics, glass, concrete and other substrates. These heat-cured, self-leveling adhesives require no mixing and offer unlimited time at room temperature. They are available in four 100% solids formulations to accommodate a variety of OEM applications. In addition to high bond strength, all four adhesives provide excellent thermal stability, corrosion resistance and gap-filling properties. SC2001 produces strong structural bonds on metal, ceramics, glass and concrete. SC2002 is a structural adhesive with excellent resistance to cutting oil, motor oil, unleaded gasoline and potassium hydroxide solutions (to 20%). SC2003 is formulated for applications requiring greater sag and run resistance. SC2004 is an adhesive/sealant with excellent resistance to aluminum sulfate solutions (to 10%) as well as to cutting oil and  unleaded gasoline.

HIGH TEMPERATURE SEALANT used as gasketing compound

Pyro-Putty™ is a high temperature sealant used as a gasketing compound for steam and gas turbine casings for service conditions up to 510°C. It is an advanced sealant system formulated by combining a high temperature resin with various ceramic fibers and powders. It is ideal for use as a replacement for gaskets and to repair rough, scored or irregular surfaces and is resistant to chemical and steam attack, high pressure and vacuum atmospheres and mechanical vibration and joint movement. Typical industrial applications include: gas and steam turbines, boilers and compressors, heat exchangers, pumps and blowers, exhaust flanges on motors and turbines, piping and ducting, valve packing in steam valves and flexible pipe joints.

METHACRYLATE ADHESIVE for large bonding projects

The XD 4661-A/B rapid-curing, toughened methacrylate structural adhesive is used for large bonding and assembly projects. It is suitable for joining substrates including engineering thermoplastics, aluminum, thermoset composites and ferrous metals. It is particularly well suited for applications requiring minimal surface preparation. The gap-filling adhesive is easy to handle with a 1:1 pbv mix ratio and a three-minute work life. The ShotGun™ table-top dispensing system is designed for two-co  mponent adhesives packaged in ConProTec's MIXPAC® System. It operates in two modes to conveniently dispense either a timer-controlled single shot or a continuous feed bead of adhesive. The Loctite® Shot Miser® Dispense System is a complete, controlled system designed for manual and semi-automatic dispensing of all single component 0 to 80,000 cPs viscosity adhesives. The system includes a controller, a reservoir and a dispense valve. Both the valve and reservoir are disposable, resulting in low maintenance costs and minimal downtime. The Shot Miser valve can repeatedly dispense light to heavy adhesive dots and beads and features a pinch-tube disposable fluid path. Ceramabond™ 503 high temperature ceramic adhesive is now used to bond fiber optic bundles into ferrules or connector housings used in electrical and optical applications. This inorganic, water-dispersed, alumina-filled adhesive resists temperatures to 1760°C. Additional applications include the assembly of dense ceramic components used in ultra high vacuum equipment, the repairing of ceramic saggar plates used in furnaces and the bonding and coating of platinum/rhodium resistance wires to aluminum oxide heater cores.

Any two-part epoxy or single-part fluid material can now be dispensed directly from an industry-standard syringe including pre-filled packaged syringes or twin-packaged cartridges for meter, mix and dispense. The I&J123-S and I&J123-D series provide a high-tech solution of dispensing from contemporary material packaging. Using a flexible Hydro-Link, the micro-step motor of 16:1 connections to a precision piston ram assembly. The system accommodates syringes of 3, 5, 10, 30 and 55 cc. Together with meter, mix and dispense twin-packaged cartridges of 50, 200, 400 and 600ml.
