LOW PRESSURE TRANSMITTER makes calibration easy

Troubleshooting and calibration procedures are critical to maintaining high precision in Bio-Pharm and other HVAC airflow systems. The Ashcroft® DXLdp low-pressure transmitter with the exclusive SpoolCal™ process valve actuator can be easily validated and calibrated in-place without disturbing process tubes or wiring. With a simple twist of the wrist to the left, the SpoolCal™ tees the process pressure out to a handheld calibrator. A twist to the right puts you in the calibration mode. The front access test jacks provide on-line ref  erence signal without removing wiring, avoiding signal interruption.

AIR-DRIVEN VACUUM PUMPS provide 17-inHg at only 50 psi

The Low Pressure M series vacuum pumps have been designed to handle low or fluctuating compressed air pressures. These vacuum pumps, at an inlet pressure of only 50-psi, provide up to 27-inHg of vacuum. The pumps are quiet, small, efficient, easily installed and virtually maintenance-free. They are suitable for applications requiring high flow rate at moderate vacuum levels and can be used in packaging systems, for laboratory use, for materials handling and in vacuum systems for other industrial automation applications.

POWER SWEEPERS combine sweeping efficiency, dust control and durability

Tennant's new 6650 and 6600 Power Sweepers are easy to use both indoors or out and offer features for high performance, operator comfort, maneuverability, dust control and efficiency. The 6600's control panel is easy to operate. Power steering enhances maneuverability and operation. Dual dust side skirts tightly seal the main brush door compartment to prevent dust and debris from escaping. The 6650 offers an optional SB2 auxiliary sidebrush that cleans areas not accessible to regular sweepers, including up on the curb. It also has an optional 4-inch diameter vacuum wand to pick up trash from remote locations while sweeping. A new control panel simplifies operator training and helps eliminate operator sweeping errors. One button replaces five levers and two switches. This button opens the hopper door, activates and lowers the main and side brushes, activates the vacuum fan and increases the engine speed to  normal operating speed.

CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK can interface with 50 I/O modules

National Instruments has expanded the functionality of its controller area network (CAN) product line to provide access to more than 50 I/O modules and simplifies its configuration with the release of the new FP-1300 FieldPoint CAN interface modules and the NI-CAN 2.0 driver software. With the FP-1300 CAN interface module, engineers can now expand the capabilities of CAN-based measurement systems to include reliable distributed input/output (I/O). FieldPoint provides high accuracy, isolated analog and digital I/O modules, adding direct CAN connectivity to virtually any sensor or actuator. Users can easily add CAN nodes, containing up to nine I/O modules (144 points) each, to existing CAN networks. The module is fully configurable with NI-CAN 2.0 software so engineers can specify arbitration ID and customize I/O data configuration.

PLASTIC FASTENER with universal tie strap

Developed for a wide range of panel thickness and hole sizes, the universal tie strap fastener fits a wide range of hole diameters ranging from 6.2mm to 7.2mm and a sheet metal thickness of 0.6mm to 2.95mm. A full umbrella design resists water and noise leakage and the attachment tie feature can be adapted to a number of applications such as fuel line clips, brake line clips, insulation clips and other W-based products. The universal tie strap fastener no longer requires customers to tape the harness to the fastener in wire harness applications.

Tactilus® is an electronic tactile force and pressure indicating sensor which allows an engineer to monitor precisely how force is disbursed between any two contacting or mating surfaces in real-time while the event occurs. Any application or test where pressure lies between 0.007 kg/cm² to 632.7 kg/cm² is a viable candidate for the technology.
