| Product Profiles MICRO PLC added to PLC line AutomationDirect has added the DL06 micro PLC to its DirectLOGIC line of programmable logic controllers. The DL06 offers fixed models of 46 I/O points or up to 100 I/O points with expansion I/O. The unit combines fixed I/O of 20 inputs and 16 outputs with four option card slots for expansion (discrete, analog and communication modules), all in the same package. These E-series controllers are designed for applications requiring digital readout for flow rates, monitoring of tank level or temperature display, including throttle valves, pump switches and security situations. The model E-102 process controller can accept and power two 4-20 mA signals, while the model E-108 can read eight of these outputs. Both units can read two pulse inputs. Shock Timer documents time of accidents or excessive handling while a shipped product is in-transit. Its time-stamped impact information may be used as documented evidence to assign liability for in-transit damage. The same information can also be used to discover how or why there is damage to products during shipping and this can lead to corrective action. An inground or above ground, concrete tank, new or used, large or small, can be lined with a flexible PVC, bag-type liner. The liner is resistant to a wide variety of chemicals and will prevent corrosion of the concrete. Because the liner does not adhere to the surface of the tank, it is not affected by expansion and contraction or damaged when the concrete cracks and will stop chemicals from leaking into the ground. These liners are custom fabricated and shipped to the job-site in one piece ready for installation. In most cases, very little tank preparation is required. Cattron-Theimeg offers two collision avoidance systems to protect costly equipment and facili ties from damage resulting from overhead cranes colliding with end walls and other intersecting cranes. The LCAS laser collision avoidance system uses retroreflective Class 1 laser technology, while the Ultra Guard employs ultrasonics. Able to detect other moving or stationary cranes and end walls, both systems are field adjustable to slow and, ultimately, to stop at user-selected distances. These collision avoidance systems can be used to protect stationary equipment too. An alarm output will be activated if the unit detects a target moving within its set warning distance. The standard SEELOC™ self-sealing washers feature a silicone rubber section bonded to a specially-formed stainless-steel washer. Other washer and sealing materials are available for specific applications. Each is designed for use with standard screws and bolts to seal panels, casings, housings and other assembled enclosures having larger fastener clearance holes/slots. Upon tightening they provide a seal under the head of a standard screw or bolt as well as sealing around the periphery of the washer face preventing leakage through the fastener mounting hole. The
Hydraulic Conversion Kit upgrades mechanical dock levelers to easy-to-use

These
soft-faced mallets can be customized for specific applications by
selecting the appropriate hammer inserts. Choose the same type for each
side, or build a multi-purpose hammer with a different type of insert for

A
new automated sheet order filling station allows orders to be transferred
from inventory skids to customer skids in two minute cycles. A single
operator with a hand-held remote control selects the number of sheets
required and the bundle splitter makes the transfer. The system will
handle any number of sheets or plates up to a maximum of 6000 lb. in one
cycle and make the transfer without physical effort by the operator. The
bundle splitter is compatible with bright metals which it handles without
scratching or marking.
The
Dash 8X portable data acquisition system can simultaneously capture 8
analog channels to internal hard drive at a sample rate of 200 kHz per
channel and 4 scope channels at a sample rate of 10 MHz per channel for a
total of 12 channels of data acquisition. The unit is equipped with a
15" diagonal monitor for intuitive touch-screen control and real-time
