The levelprox level detection sensor is designed for use with metal storage tanks. It has the ability to detect liquid levels inside a metal-walled tank without the need for an access port. The unit is suitable for applications in breweries, dairies and other food or beverage production facilities, wastewater treatment, chemical handling, oil or lubricant storage and pharmaceutical. Using ultrasonic technology to sense through the metal tank wall is ideal for situations where intrusion into the tank is not desired, such as when the media is caustic or volatile, under high pressure, at very high temperatures and especially if the environment is sanitary. The Ashcroft KM10 transducer is a compact unit that is rugged, accurate and suitable for a wide range of applications. It has been designed to address some of the most severe OEM applications involving the rigors of shock, vibration and operating temperature extremes. It is suited for pressure monitoring applications on industrial equipment where stable and accurate output signals are required. Rittal's Signal Pillars give users the ability to identify messages and malfunctions quickly and from a distance so that prompt, targeted action can be taken before any major damage is caused. The modular construction allows flexible configurations that simplifies stock control as there is no need to keep various pre-assembled consoles in stock. Up to five separate optical components are joined together with a bayonet connection. Electrical connection is made automatically and the last component in each case may be an acoustic alarm with continuous or pulsating tone. EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE GAUGES have increased functionality The PYRO 2001 EGT gauge combines the convenient mounting and packaging of a conventional analog fitting into a standard 2 1/16" hole plus the simultaneous display of two Type K-EGT sensors. In low light or nighttime situations, eight high intensity backlit LEDs provide a bright and an evenly lit LCD display. The PYRO 2001 also provides a peak hold and a real time data-logging feature. These features allow the user to capture either peak readings or continuous data over a given run so that the data can be played back and reviewed in real time after the run. Hoyt
Wright-Austin series 30L gas/liquid separators can remove +99% of all liquid and solid entrainment, 10 microns or larger, from air, gas and steam lines. The unit is available in eleven different configurations. There are units for both vertical and horizontal installations and with numerous inlet and outlet configurations. These separators feature a very simple, yet highly efficient design. Because there are no moving parts, maintenance is not a consideration. In operation, as steam, air or gas enters the unit it encounters curved stationary blades, creating a controlled centrifugal action. The Promass 80E Coriolis massflow meter features integrated density measurement. With an accuracy of ±0.35% in liquids and ±0.75% in gas, the unit can improve product quality and reduce waste. The SGT® Electronic Pressure Instrument is now offered in absolute pressure ranges. This multi-functional field instrument provides two relays, local indication and a 4-20mA analog output and is approved for use in Class 1, Div 2 hazardous locations. The SGT® combines the multiple functions of a dual switch, a gauge and a transmitter in a compact, loop powered device. Each switch open/close value is independently configurable and is unaffected by the scaling of the analog output. The Series DMF digital gas mass flow controller can be programmed for a variety of control functions including flow set point, totalizer, stop totalizer, totalize from preset flow, stop and preset auto, auto zero and more. The auto zero feature utilizes an automatic balancing circuit that virtually eliminates drift of zero and span. The series DMF also features two dry contact closures to operate pumps, valves and other process equipment. The unit is able to control high and low alarm limits through the RS485 interface. The series SAL-25 samplers handle liquids or slurries having entrained solids of major dimension up to 9.5mm, drawing measured samples of 25cc per cycle on command from electric or all-pneumatic controls. Actuated by a double-acting air cylinder for greater safety in volatile environments, the samplers tap process streams moving through pipes or vessels pressurized up to 300 psi. The sample path always remains completely enclosed to avoid spillage waste, contamination of sample or process material, or exposure of personnel or the plant environment to hazardous materials or fumes. PLCD linear sensors are used in many types of drives, machinery, automation systems and conveyors. It can be applied to rotary actuator applications. If necessary, a standard signal processing ASIC can be integrated with the sensor for AC voltage supply, internal signal processing and DC out signal. PLCD sensors operate without being mechanically connected to the driving mechanism; therefore, the sensor can be actuated through walls made from non-magnetic materials. The FloBoss™ 103 Flow Manager for natural gas flow measurement has benefits and features that make it suitable for chart replacement applica tions. It eliminates the off-chart gas flow problems that are inherent with chart recorders. The result is less lost and unaccounted gas. Static and differential pressures are measured to a reference accuracy of up to ±0.075 percent. A multi-loop, highly stable controller, the system comes pre-programmed or can be customized to address specific applications. Program modifications and upgrades can be provided off-line and downloaded to the controller with minimal disruption of normal mill operations.
