The Airflow PowerBooth™ is a completely self-contained unit, eliminating the need for costly ductwork and a separate dust collection system. Units come standard with a 5 HP blower drawing up to 4500 cfm at a noise level of 77dBA. A large inlet grille area keeps contaminants effectively away from the workers' breathing zone and costly equipment. Further versatility is available with Airflow's portable design option. CARTRIDGE FILTERS Precisely engineered to work with the AAF OptiFlo™ pulse-jet dust collectors, the OptiKlean cartridge filters are made of a proprietary high strength polyester reinforced media. In this Square Pulse Jet Bag dust and particle-laden air enters the separator section and passes through the media, the dust is captured and deposited on the outside of the individual filter tubes. The clean air progresses upward through the filter tubes into a clean air plenum and is exhausted through the outlet at the top. The clean air is returned to the plant or to the atmosphere. The 3" diameter standard or stainless steel range of extractor arms is designed to provide a non-corrosive, easily washable means by which to extract hazardous materials such as pharmaceutical dusts, acidic or caustic chemicals. They provide acid resistance as well as washability. Custom hoses can be installed at the joints in order to suit particular applications. The fume arms have no encumbrances inside the arm which allows for clear and free movement of contaminated air and eliminates the possibility of any residue buildup. CitySorb™ CH is a media-based adsorber for the control of airborne gaseous contaminants. It is ideal for HVAC applications in geographic areas where ozone may be a concern and/or wherever the use of outside air for indoor contamination dilution may be problematic based upon elevated levels of other gaseous pollutants. The adsorber will remove airborne gaseous contaminants specific to the medical, pharmaceutical and electronics industries and other applications where continuous control of low-level molecular contaminants is needed to ensure reliability of production processes. The Sternvent Vibraclean series of compact dust collectors is designed to filter fine wood, metal, chemical and pharmaceutical dust and/or provide equipment room ventilation for cement plants. Suitable for medium duty intermittent operations, the unit is typically installed outdoors, since it utilizes an eccentric driven motorized shaker to rejuvenate the filters, instead of compressed air, which is difficult to maintain when outdoor temperatures are below freezing. The modular air filters are designed to be
added to or reduced in size to accommodate whatever change a facility is
going through. Each filter is supplied with a venturi assisted reverse

PlymoVent
has just introduced a new patented coolant recovery system which is
self-contained and will capture coolant mist and smoke with an efficiency of up
to 99.9%. It is suitable for single or multiple machine tool applications. The
system minimizes health risks by removing hazardous coolant fumes out of the
operator's breathing zone and also saves on energy consumption due to the
fan/filter's advanced technology.
The
Roto-Pulse™ cartridge-cleaning system features incremental-spin
cleaning. It cleans the entire length of the dust collector cartridge and
also focuses incremental, controlled blasts of air into each section of
the cartridge for more concentrated and complete cleaning of
cartridge-clogging dust. Cartridge filters are cleaned by pulsing air into
a specially designed stainless steel rotating tube with pre-drilled holes.
As air enters the tube it incrementally rotates a number of degrees,
distributing the pulse of air across the length of the inside surface of
that cartridge, dislodging dirt from outside the cartridge. The number of
increments per revolution can be adjusted, as well as the time
between pulses, for maximum flexibility.

The
Enviroflex Smoke Extractors are lightweight, suitcase sized air cleaners
that are very easy to carry. The contaminant is trapped at the source,
thus maximizing the protection to the operator by removing contaminant
before it enters the operator's breathing area. The unit recycles clean
air back into the building thus eliminating additional heating or cooling
costs. The unit has been designed to accommodate an optional charcoal
filter to eliminate various gases after the particulate has been
collected. The various models are suitable for maintenance and repair
welding or they can be utilized with a MIG smoke exhaust gun.

This
updated portable fume and dust collector combines three-stage filtration with
versatile performance and ease of use. The Zephyr® II collector is intended for
industrial fume source capture and for plants requiring periodic dust collection
at various locations. Applications include welding fumes, grinding dusts, dry
dusts, soldering fumes and other airborne particles. Easy to move and position,
the portable collector comes as a self-contained unit. The user need only plug
in the 110v power cord and compressed air line, install the fume arm and the
unit is capturing dust and fumes. Contaminants entering the collector are
removed by three independent stages of filtration: a metal filter that functions
as a spark trap, a spun-bond polyester main filter for fine particle removal and
a carbon after filter for odors and gases. The main filter, which uses a reverse
pulse cleaning system to extend filter life, offers 99.9% efficiency on 0.5
micron and larger particles.
