INFLATABLE GRIPPERS The Air Picker End-Effectors are designed for gently lifting open mouth containers by inflating up to 140% of their size and tightly gripping from the inside without excessive pressure. Capable of conforming to any shape, these delicate rubber bladder attachments are non-marring, provide instant attach and release and are unaffected by dusty environments. Requiring approx. 15 psi with no loss of flow to operate, the units are sealed to create a closed-loop system and come in four sizes from 0.67" to 1.85" resting insertion dia. PLASTIC DOLLIES These plastic dollies carry loads of up to 450 kg apiece. Made from high-impact, durable polyethylene reinforced by a steel rod under the longer dimension, the dollies will not rot, get mildew or splinter. The plate-style polyolefin casters are 100 mm in diameter and swivel for maximum maneuverability. The dollies come with a choice of padded or flush-deck surfaces. The flush deck is more suited to carrying smaller items, such as tote boxes and cartons. The padded deck is designed for larger loads requiring some cushioning and easier access from the bottom. "OPEN-SIDE" STAND DESIGN Conveyor Technologies enhances the fast changeover, high up-time capabilities of its family of low-profile conveyors with a unique "open-side" stand design enabling endless belt change in two minutes or less on small to medium-size conveyors. The quick-change configuration, utilizing the high strength and rigidity of the steel conveyor frame and mount, allows cantilever-style mounting to just one side of the stand. This permits legs on the stand's opposite side to stop short of the conveyor frame, eliminating obstructions to slide-off/slide-on belt removal and installation. PART MARKING AND VERIFICATION SYSTEM The "Mark and Read" system combines the marking of a two-dimensional Data Matrix code with the reading and verification of that code. Parts can be marked with dot peen or a laser, while the tracking is handled through the use of cameras. The vision system makes it possible to track a marked piece using Data Matrix codes throughout the manufacturing cycle, and when required, throughout the entire product life cycle up to the point the product is scrapped. The information read from the 2D code is transmitted and saved to a database in real-time at each step in the pro duction process. The large amount of information that can be stored in the 2D code creates a portable database that is permanently attached to the part.
