Spring-Fast® wire protection grommet edgings are durable, reliable and fast to apply with finger pressure or with the Roll-Fast™ application tool. The grip strength of the stainless steel substrate assures meeting the shock and vibration requirements of MIL-STD-1344, Method 2005, and the polyamide finish provides high dielectric strength and abrasion, chemical and salt spray resistance. The flush mounting of one castle of each pair of gripping castles enhances the smoothness of the FM series in its application. Its multi-axis flexibility is applicable to square inside corners, and outside corners with a minimum 6mm radii.

The MINOS series of photoelectric sensors measure only 8mm x 11mm x 16mm. The complete family features diffuse, thru-beam and retroreflective sensors. The MINOS also offers true background suppression with a single button TEACH function. True background suppression allows different coloured objects to be detected at the same distance, while completely ignoring shiny backgrounds. To make sure the product fits the application, the cable exit can be located at either the bottom or back of the sensor housing.

MTS Sensors announces ATEX approval for its MG series liquid level gauges. This approval signifies that MG series sensors may be used as an intrinsically safe device. With the use of a separate intrinsically safe barrier, these sensors may be used in hazardous locations where there is a potential for explosions via flammable gases, dust or vapours. The liquid level gauges are also CSA, FM, JIIS and NEPSI approved.
