FOOT AND PALM SWITCHES When particularly swift reaction is required in an emergency, the large switching surface of FAK foot and palm switches enables one to keep everything in view and under control. It can be triggered easily by hand, even when wearing work gloves, or with the foot. An optional indicator light in the head of the FAK can attract attention to the location of the trip. SAFETY INTERLOCK SWITCH The versatile TL8012-S safety interlock switch with guard door locking provides a total of five door and lock monitoring contacts and locking force of 2000N, to prevent guard doors from opening until a machine reaches a safe state. A lid-mounted status light provides clear visual indication when the guard door is unlocked. A rotatable head with four actuator entry positions satisfies most installation requirements. Additionally, a variety of stainless steel actuators, a stainless steel guide and a NEMA 6 enclosure mean users can expect long life with a minimum of one million actuations, even in applications with water washdown cleaning. PROTECTION SYSTEM The Grace Employee Monitor (GEM) is designed for employees working alone or in a remote area. It employs a small battery operated alarm unit that is worn by the employee. This device detects lack of motion so that if a worker stops moving for up to 90 seconds he/she is given a pre-alert for 8 seconds and then the alarm device emits a loud audio alarm and sends a radio signal back to the receiver -- up to 3/4 mi. line of sight. The receiver indicates on LEDs or an LC display that a worker is in trouble. It also provides an audio/verbal warning that can be sent over an internal radio system, log onto a computer or activate remote alarm indicators. STATIC GROUNDING SYSTEM Bond-Rite and Bond-Rite Remote are 9V battery operated, self-contained, static ground verification systems. Each unit continuously monitors the condition of the static ground connection between the object to be grounded and a known "high integrity" ground.
