Metal-filled epoxies from Devcon are designed for use in a wide array of industrial maintenance, repair, production and tooling applications. Easily applied by plant personnel without special training, they cure at room temperature and provide excellent resistance to a broad range of chemicals and temperatures. Plastic Steel® Putty bonds to most metals, concrete and some plastics. For dependable emergency repairs, Plastic Steel-5-Minute® Putty cures fully to a tough, steel-filled material in less than an hour. PrecisionFlo™ LT is a simple, high performance continuous flow, electronically-controlled fluid metering system that provides precise real-time, closed-loop metering and dispensing of ambient and hot melt sealants and adhesives in automotive and industrial applications. It is an entry-level system that is easy to install and operate and provides fast response to operator commands and ensures precise control of materials with a wide range of viscosities, flow rates and shot sizes. The system automatically maintains the desired dispense rate by adjusting for changes in material viscosity, temperature, tip wear and speed.

The White Lightening DRIPLESS® line of caulk guns have a patented drip-free feature that immediately stops caulk flow upon trigger release. The complete line is ruggedly constructed for the demands of industrial and professional use, with a self-locking plunger nut and extra welds to prevent end cap failure. Quick and easy loading and a built-in spout cutter and punch increase productivity. A ladder hook feature keeps the gun within convenient reach. The line includes a 10-ounce dripless skeleton industrial gun with rotating barrel, and a 10 and 29-ounce dripless heavy-duty cradle gun with ratchet drive.

EP30ND is a two component epoxy adhesive for high performance bonding formulated to cure at room temperature or more rapidly at elevated temperatures, with a four-to-one mix ratio, weight or volume. It readily develops a high bonding strength of more than 2000 psi at room temperature, with excellent dimensional stability along with very low shrinkage upon cure. The adhesive can be applied without sagging or dripping even on vertical surfaces. It produces durable high strength bonds which are resistant to thermal cycling and chemicals including water, oil and organic solvents, over a wide temperature range.

Master Bond Inc.

75ml cartridges are available for the MIXPAC® Hand-Held Cartridge Dispensing System for 2-component adhesives. The system consists of a manual or pneumatic dispensing gun, a cartridge, and a static mixer. The cartridge dispensing systems, with a 75ml capacity, are used to dispense 2-component adhesives in a 1:1 volumetric ratio. These 75ml cartridges allow users of the MIXPAC System 50 to dispense greater volumes without purchasing a new gun.

ConProTec Inc.

A new line of Loctite® robots has been designed for repeated and reliable dispensing of adhesives and sealants onto complex surface configurations. Available in both benchtop and selective compliance assembly robot arm (SCARA) models, these fully programmable robots improve production efficiencies and result in minimal material waste. The robots are available in four different models, with increasing operating ranges. All models can be ordered in eight different configurations with options including: three or four controllable axes, 110 or 220V power, and standard or CE certification.

Henkel Loctite Corporation

Ceramabond™ 552 high temperature ceramic adhesive is used to bond solder gun tips and other electrical and mechanical assemblies used in applications to 1650°C. It is an advanced, single part, alumina-filled ceramic adhesive that provides adhesion to ceramics and metals. This easy-to-use, dispensable adhesive is also a water-based, environmentally safe material that contains no volatile organic compounds. It has many other high temperature uses from bonding ceramic gaskets in wood stoves to electrically insulating sensors, high power resistors, gas igniters and impellers and degassers used in molten metal processing.

Aremco Products, Inc.

821-GEL G-20 or G-50 chock and transformer adhesives contain particles sized to maintain appropriate gaps and simplify the process of bonding gapped e-cores. The addition of sized particles eliminates the need for manual or automated insertion of spacers, allowing simplification of the manufacturing process. Adhesive 821-Gel G-20 contains particles sized to maintain a 20 micron bond line while the G-50 product contains particles appropriate for a 50 micron bond line. They fixture in 25-60 seconds with activator 501E when core halves are mated.

Dymax Corporation

The PP300-A Clear-View Pressure Chamber system provides a method of dispensing cyanoacrylate directly from a jar or bottle without having to transfer the material from the supplier's container. Simply open the lid of the pressure chamber, place the bottle inside the chamber, insert the polyethylene tube into the bottle and secure the chamber. Air pressure is fed via an air regulator and the chamber is pressurized. The material will now travel up the tube to a thru-chamber connector and out via a tube to a pinch tube valve or pinch tube  hand-held pen. All tubes, pen and valve parts are disposable.

I&J Fisnar Inc.

The Loctite® Hysol® U-09FL is a robust, high performance urethane adhesive for bonding polycarbonate and a variety of other plastics, as well as glass and metal. It exhibits good storage stability and, once mixed, offers a 10 minute work-life. This two-component urethane cures at room temperature in 3 to 24 hours. Ultra-clear and highly flexible, it provides excellent peel strength and is ideal for applications that require a clear, non-yellowing bondline.

Henkel Loctite Corporation

Devcon methacrylate adhesives are formulated for difficult-to-bond plastics, composites and dissimilar substrates. These tough, structural adhesives require minimal surface preparation and cure rapidly at room temperature to load-bearing bonds that withstand weathering, humidity, and wide variations in temperature. All offer flexibility, high tensile and shear strength and resistance to reel and impact. Plastic Welder™ is designed to bond engineered plastics and dissimilar substrates including unprepared metals, vinyls, ceramics, fiberglass and wood. Composite Welder FS is a flexible methacrylate for bonding thermoplastics, thermosets, metal and composite assemblies. Flex Welder™ fill gaps up to 3/8" and  provides excellent bond line flexibility.

Devcon

Polyken® Wire Harness Tapes feature a variety of engine compartment tapes including heat shielding aluminum foil/fiberglass fabric composites, flame-retardant polymeric and fabric composite tapes, and other constructions that must resist chemicals, provide up to 60 oz./in. adhesion and operate at up to 230°C. For instrument panels and other interior applications, the line of low-noise, low-fogging tapes meet SAE J1756.

Tyco Adhesives

The Resbond™ 904 fast setting, one component, high purity zirconia adhesive is a free flowing formulation suitable for accelerated cures and automatic dispensing. It cures at room temperature or in 5 minutes at 200°F to provide high bond strength and  excellent electrical, moisture, chemical and solvent resistance. Applications include production bonding of thermocouples, heat sensors and critical components for use to 4000°F.

Cotronics Corporation

The LDS9000 Linear Dispensing System features a hand-held gun with a linear actuator-driven mechanical lead screw that smoothly pushes an adhesive through a plastic syringe and out the tip. Providing fully repeatable dispensing, the gun is controlled by a programmable unit which operates without the pulsation and pounding of pneumatic dispensing systems. Simple to operate, a user just programs the dispense volume, flow rate, drawback and drawback delay rate and the dispensing system will apply precise beads every time.

Fishman Corporation

The ND 400, ND 500 and ND 700 expandable sealants for OEMs provide weight savings, consistent surfaces, maximized material usage and reduced number of parts in automotive assemblies. ND 400 is an expandable sealant developed specifically for eliminating vibration in stamped body panels. ND 500, blue in colour, is a tough expandable sealant supplied in a dry non-tacky form. ND 700 is a dark  grey, tough and fuel resistant expandable, supplied in a non-tacky form.

ND Industries, Inc.

The Electromatic XVI applicator head is designed specifically for areas where lightweight and small size coupled with high speed and trouble-free operation is important. The applicator head is intended for use with cold adhesives, coatings, fragrances, silicones, marking inks, water, lubricants and other similar fluids. The unit weighs 15 ounces, operates at pressures up to 2,000 psi and typically fires above 1800 cycles per minute. All wetted parts are stainless steel, with only one moving part, and with no seals or packing to wear or inhibit its movement, drip free operation is ensured and maintenance is minimized.

Adhesive Application Systems Inc.

DuraBlue 50 adhesive melters deliver simplicity, reliability, durability and performance to product assembly, packaging and paperboard converting operations. The adhesive melters offer full feature control for automatic dispensing applications. The melters feature preset speed AC motors with high-output gerotor gear pumps for easy-to-operate, low maintenance hot melt adhesive application. The DuraBlue 25- and 50-liter melters are currently available, with 100-liter sizes becoming available in mid-2004. The release-coated grid and reservoir tank reduces adhesive degradation while maximizing adhesive  throughput.

Nordson Corporation

This aggressive rubber-based transfer adhesive is designed specifically for the EPS foam packaging market. Features of the 6801-P adhesive include a plastic liner engineered for the hot wire cutting process commonly used to fabricate EPS foam parts. The adhesive is rubber-based, with a thickness of 1 mil and is supplied in 50" widths to accommodate the standard 48" wide EPS block stock. Typical application for this product is the adherence of fabricated styrofoam blocks inside of corrugated cartons for shipping.

Adchem Corporation

Dublfilm® S812A is a thin polyester coated on both sides with a high tack, high peel acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The film is designed for automotive assembly, bonding to EPDM rubbers and for fabricating foam parts used in NVH applications. The film adheres well to low surface energy plastics including untreated polyolefins. The adhesive offers excellent resistance to environmental extremes and the polyester film carrier provides strength and dimensional stability. This adhesive film product bonds exceptionally well to ether and ester foams.

Scapa North America

The EP41S-4 two component epoxy resin features outstanding chemical resistance to such aggressive media as chlorinated organic solvents, fuels and strong oxidizing acids. This high degree of chemical resistance is maintained even after prolonged exposures without deterioration of pertinent performance properties. The system can be used in bonding, coating, sealing and potting applications. It cures at room temperature or more quickly at high temperatures. It has a 4 to 1 mix ratio, weight or volume.

Master Bond Inc.

Agomet™ surface-activated methacrylate adhesives are designed to increase customer bonding options while providing for fast cure and durable joining of metals, thermoplastics and composites. The high-strength, fast-acting adhesives are suitable for use in the speaker, electrical/electronics, transportation, marine, heavy equipment, construction, furniture and general fabricating industries. The products have the ability to bond substrates via surface activation. This feature allows users to apply hardener/lacquer to a substrate up to 30 days before the resin is added to bond an assembly. The methacrylates can also be hand mixed and meter mixed.
