The OMEGA® HH64A microprocessor-based thermometer accepts six different thermocouple type probes (J, K, T, R, S and N) and displays a temperature in °F, °C and Kelvin. This durable unit has a water resistant case to protect it from moisture and splashing while the microprocessor design ensures accuracy and eliminates the need for field calibration. The HH64A has 0.1 degree resolution and features Min, Max and display hold functions.

OMEGA

The model WTT-110 wire terminal pull tester quickly and accurately measures the pull or "pull-off" force on most soldered or solder-less wire terminals. This easy-to-use, all-in-one, single-range solution handles most testing applications -- without additional grips, fixtures or accessories. It employs strain gauge sensing to provide a resolution of 1/5000 with an accuracy of 0.5%. It is suitable for wires from AWG 30 to AWG 8 (0.010" to 0.130" diameter).

Electromatic Equipment Co., Inc.

The Angular Measurement and Alignment System delivers highly accurate alignment capability in a compact, easy-to-use package. With an angular measuring sensitivity of 1 arc-second, this system is ideal for aligning precision mounts and fixtures, antenna arrays, molding machine platens, press faces and other assemblies. The precision angles can be measured and checked over surfaces that are 20 feet in length, making it is suitable for surface profiling. The kit includes the Microgage 2000 laser transmitter.

Pinpoint Laser Systems

The model RH101 Hygro-Thermometer includes a built-in, non-contact InfraRed (IR) thermometer. The IR thermometer provides fast and easy measurements ranging from -50 to 500°C in locations that are unsafe or hard to reach. A built-in laser pointer targets the area being measured. The 8:1 field of view allows a 1" spot to be measured at a distance of 8". The test tool measures humidity, air temperature and surface temperature and monitors factories, clean rooms and those hard to reach heating and air-conditioning ducts.

Extech Instruments

The Instron® 50 kN rated capacity mechanical wedge action grips are designed for easy specimen loading, alignment and positioning. These grips are suited for testing high-strength materials such as metals, wire, plastic, elastomers and composites. The mechanical wedge action grips are designed with fixed faces,  movable bodies and slack-free connection to the test instrument.

Instron

The NI PCI-4070 FlexDMM 6 1/2-digit multimeter can operate as both a full-featured 6 1/2-digit DMM and a 1.8 MS/s high-voltage isolated digitizer so that engineers can dramatically reduce the time it takes to make accurate measurements on the PCI bus. The unique multifunction capability of the unit and its tight integration with LabVIEW 7 Express measurement software gives engineers the flexibility, resolution, input range and isolation required for challenging applications such as fuel cell testing and high-resolution data converters.

National Instruments

Non-hazardous ultrasound can replace nuclear type density meters. The sonic transducers fit flush with the pipe wall, so there are no intrusions into the flow which avoids fouling with stringy sewage sludge. The Markland #502 has an LCD local readout of percent solids; 4-20ma output; two set-point relays and RS-232/485 serial port. The microprocessor is housed in a NEMA-4X enclosure and features advanced diagnostics, pushbutton simplified calibration and dynamic damping.

The Loctite® ZETA® 7011-A and 7011-V dosimeter-radiometers are designed to measure the UV dose and irradiance levels inside UV curing equipment. The ZETA 7011-A reads a spectral range from 320 to 400 nm, while the ZETA 7011-V reads a spectral range of 350 to 500 nm. Units of measurement for
the UV dose are Joules per square centimeter, while UV irradiance is measured in Watts per square centimeter.

Henkel Loctite Corporation

The TG 5093 Peel Fixture has been developed to specifically test the peel strength of heat-sealed plastic film covers for food containers. The precision-engineered fixture consists of a small upper spring loaded wedge grip that holds the film cover and a horizontal sliding bed with a "dish holder". A vacuum system securely grips the food container in position. The fixture fits easily on the LF. LR or 'Plus' ranges of low force universal testing machines.

Lloyd Instruments

The model 1522 Zee Line Digital Preset Meter is used in dispensing and measuring oils, anti-freeze, automatic transmission fluid and gear lube. The meter is ideal for quick lubes, automotive service and plant maintenance. It features automatic cutoff when a preset volume is reached and can dispense in pints, quarts, gallons and liters. It has a five digit display.

National-Spencer, Inc.

Easi-Test is a new device that permits the independent testing of pneumatic actuators and process valves on live systems. Fitted between the valve and actuator, when activated it allows independent testing and operation of the actuator or valve. Easi-test makes independent testing of both declutchable and automatically clutchable valves a simple procedure.

Smith Flow Control

Two new multi-channel source-measure test cards with expanded operating ranges are now available for the Model 4500-MTS Multi-Channel I-V Test System. Each card provides four source-measure channels in each of nine slots of the model 4500 mainframe, allowing up to 36 I-V measurement channels.

Keithley Instruments, Inc.

 The Big Beam Sensor features a large measurement area that provides a greater versatility when measuring width and height of solid and opaque objects in numerous industries. It is ideal where fast one dimensional measurements are needed such as on a production line. Its functionality is not affected by target surface colour or reflectivity. The sensor uses a modulated laser source to back light the object being measured. The portion of this light that reaches the receiver is proportional to the dimension of the part, generating dimensional data output.

LMI Technologies Inc. 

The model S2401 hand-held, dual channel, 50Ms/Sec DSO/DMM provides DC to 1 MHz bandwidth with 8 bit resolution for the DSO section. A DMM function is incorporated. Designed to UL 3111, CSA C22.2 No. 1010 standards, the instrument also functions as a 4000 count DMM with built-in auto/manual ranging. Measurements are DCV/ACV, Ohms, frequency, RPM, pulse width, continuity and duty cycle.

Protek Test and Measurement

The BOD 63M laser time-of-flight sensor can detect or measure objects, stationary or moving, that are up to 6 meters long or up to that distance away. Applications include distance measurement and control of moving objects, such as pallets, hot steel that could damage a sensor, parts that change colours or have reflective surfaces, or targets that move unfavourable to a light beam, such as parts manipulated by robots, behind glass, or in other restricted areas. The sensor is ideal for measurement of large objects such as logs, rolls of steel and paper.

Balluff Inc.

The RA-H5000 roundness measuring system fully automates measurement, assessment and printout of various cylindrical forms and gears while drastically improving throughput, measuring accuracy and analysis performance. It offers turntable rotational accuracy of 0.02+6H/1000um/350mm and measuring arm straightness of 0.5 um/200mm. The system features a digital adjustment air-bearing table mechanism and high accuracy linear scales for automatic workpiece centering and leveling, in less than one minute.

Mitutoyo

Acqiris has added High-Resolution Sample Rate to its 12-bit CompactPCI and PCI digitizers. The V-Class DC440 and DP310 digitizers now feature Hres SR, a unique time base capability that expands the setting resolution allowing ultrafine sampling rate settings and adjustments. The time base flexibility makes the digitizers suitable for wideband frequency-related measurements including easy demodulation processing of I/Q modulated carriers in QAM and RF/IF digital receivers.

Acqiris

The model CA832 sound level meter is designed to access sound ambiences or nuisances in accordance with international safety and quality standards. It features two weighing curves A and C for measurement integrating the sensitivity of the human ear according to sound frequency, three measurement ranges from 35 to 130dB and two time weighting curves: S (slow) -- 550ms and F (fast) -- 55 ms. The meter has a 2000-count backlit LCD and includes a rugged, shockproof, protective dirt resistant holster.

The Ethernet support for the NDT-RAM™ non-destructive testing application using the Resonant Acoustic Method, based on the SDC003 LanSharc™ hardware platform is available with the NDT-LAN2 option. The new Ethernet capabilities increase communication speed and data transfer rates between the LanSharc smart digital controller and the host PC logging the inspection's statistical results. The NDT-RAM inspection technique uses an instrumented impact hammer and a microphone for quality assurance testing of powdered metals and castings.

An optional Renishaw TP20 probe is available for the Datron M35 Aluminator, an entry-level CNC machine designed specifically for high-speed micro-tooling, with spindle speeds up to 60,000 rpm and feed rates of 1000" per minute. The omni-axis TP20 probe system is suitable for complex part measurement and applications typically requiring measurement in the X, Y and/or Z direction(s), such as engraving a logo onto a rounded surface. The probe eliminates three dimensional programming requirements for reduced cycle times.

The Model 1000 surface finish gauge features three variable reluctance pickups, each having 5 um diamond stylus that can measure roundness parameters such as Ra, Rp, Tp and Rsk on main and rod journals as well as thrust faces. This manually loaded, fully automatic gauge utilizes Windows NT® software friendly graphics and may be stored and used in SPC programs. Capable of scanning 2,000 points per mm, the gauge measures the entire length  of the journal in one scan and reports the results in 5.6mm evaluation lengths.

The upgraded version of the Transmation® QuikCal™ 190 series multifunction calibrator features a built-in pump for fast calibrations at the touch of a button. The new version also features added protection against ESD static electricity, enhanced reliability and increased longevity of the plug-in modules. This line of test point fittings is designed to test hydraulic systems at working pressures. The fittings allow for quick connections to monitor and control pressure, vent a system or draw samples.
