Ridge Tool has a new transmitter for its line locator, NaviTrack™. The transmitter makes line tracing even easier with features that include convenient push-button operation, a lightweight design and rugged construction. The transmitter's three trace frequencies also provide added versatility. The Industrial Tactile Sensor, a user configurable sensor, is designed to quantify high pressure measurements in industrial and elevated temperature environments. Depending on the application, the tactile sensor is arranged as an individual sensor or integrated as an array across a rigid web/grid style plane to measure a detailed pressure distribution. Designed to be integrated into a customer's data acquisition system or as a complete data collection hardware/software system, it is ideal for an array of diverse pressure measurements.

Pressure Profile Systems, Inc.

Two lines of miniature inductive sensors are available for assembly automation equipment with limited mounting space. The IT line of miniature sensors are 6.5mm in diameter and have smooth bodies, measuring 30mm in length. The IE line of sensors are 8mm in diameter with 30mm threaded body lengths. Both families include sensors with 2mm flush or 4mm non-flush sensing ranges. The sensors are DC, PNP, normally open and have a stainless steel housing for greater tightening torque.

MTS Sensors provides a digital 485 loop system to enhance its line of liquid level gauges. The interface terminal provides continuous real-time data displays for up to eight tanks in one remote location. The series FS flowmeter with flow limit switch offers visual flow rate indication in GPM or LPM. The industrial, direct-reading unit includes an adjustable, latching flow alarm to open or close AC electrical circuits, trigger warning lights or activate other process control equipment. Operating with a ±5% of full scale accuracy, the flowmeter can be installed vertically or horizontally without installing any special plumbing.

Dwyer Instruments, Inc.

This new line of transducers enables programmable adjustment of the pressure range in the field. The transducers offer improved thermal compensation, increasing overall accuracy up to ±0.25% Tital Error Band (TEB) over the entire compensated temperature range of the transducers. The series 740 line of transducers is ideal for demanding applications where repeatable, precise measurement is needed,  such as in environmental applications.

The series TCS thermocouple temperature switch monitors and controls temperature in heating and cooling applications. The series offers a wide temperature range, two selectable alarm sets and an internal buzzer indicating alarm condition or error. The thermocouple switch features password protection and error/alarm messaging. Temperature and output status is indicated on the bright red LED display.

Love Controls

The BBP/BBT family of 3/8" pencil type gauging probes are designed for ultra-precise measurement of dimensions in a wide variety of quality control, inspection equipment and industrial metrology applications including online parts inspection, servo-loop positioning systems and manufacturing process control. These AC-operated LVDT gauge heads measure the position of a target surface, with an unusually high degree of accuracy. The position probes may be used as direct replacements for mechanical and digital dial gauges.

The easy800 programmable control relay provides capabilities typical of larger PLC's such as the ability to program in ANSI, IEC, and Easy formats on the front with 25 function blocks using a ladder diagram format. Featuring a 32-bit four-function math processing, incremental encoder inputs, 32-bit counters, frequency counters, timers and analog functionality, each relay module has an expandable I/O system and a built-in network  interface. The MC-S series compact coded magnetic safety interlock switch operates with its own control unit, which provides motor contactor monitoring and/or a manual reset function. This tamper resistant non-contact safety interlock switch is available in three sizes with a plastic or stainless steel NEMA 6 enclosure. A single MC-S series control unit can provide individual monitoring and indication for up to six MC-S switches in applications with multiple guard doors.

From the series 04 and 14 ranges, customers can create illuminated pushbuttons, indicators and selector switches with stainless steel lenses, protective front rings and bezels. With ratings up to IP 67 and high operating-temperature ranges, these switches are ideal for operating in very harsh industrial environments. They are ideal for machinery control panels which must resist impact, air pollution and chemical washing.

EAO Switch Corporation

New ready-to-use COTS digitizer and analyzer cards provide increased performance and quality for fast, easy integration into OEM products. Acqiris

The Max VI™ multizone SCR power controller features a combination of isolated bonded-fin heatsinks and fan cooling that provide better heat dissipation in a smaller space and provides up to 450 amps of control power in a footprint of just 14.75 in. by 9-in by 6.5 inches deep. The controller bolts easily to a chassis plate and all load wiring can dress down one side of the heatsink and all control wiring down the other. Applications include electric ovens, plastics machinery, packaging equipment, food and beverage processing equipment, platen heaters, transformer cou  pled loads, resistance heating and replacement of contactors and mercury relays.

Chromalox

The SPECTO length gauges are especially useful for process monitoring and automated production applications. Besides providing an accuracy of ± 1 µm, these incremental length gauges have measuring ranges of 12 and 30 mm and provide a reference mark. The length gauges are designed for plunger velocities up to 1.2 m/s (47 ipm). All versions feature a ball-bush guided plunger and a high degree of protection against contamination. There are also versions available for pneumatic plunger extension.

Heidenhain Corporation

The DI-148 series data acquisition modules provide eight channels of single-ended analog input with ±10V range and 10-bit resolution, as well as six channels of digital I/O. The DI-148 is available in two computer interface versions: serial port (RS-232) and USB (Universal Serial Bus). RS-232 units sample analog channels at a maximum throughput rate of 2000 Hz, while USB units extend the maximum sample throughput rate to 28,800 Hz. Both take their power from the host computer,  with no need of an external power supply.

The T2007 series miniature safety interlock switch is now available with more capabilities and optional features to satisfy a broader range of applications. Just 75 x 25 x 29mm in size, the T20007 is ideal for smaller machines with space restrictions while still providing two sets of contacts and a conduit entry not typically available in a switch of this size. The miniature T2007 carries the CE mark, is TUV approved, and is UL and C-Ul listed.
