The SureSTEP™ family of products includes an open-loop system that consists of four standard motors, a "one-size-fits-all" step motor drive and a power supply. With holding torques from 83 oz-inch to 434 oz-inch in NEMA size 17, 23 or 34 frames, the motors handle a wide range of automation applications. They operate on 2.8 A per phase (size 17 motor uses 1.0A), while their square frame produces high torque and allows the motors to achieve best torque-to-volume ratio. The drive operates any of the four standard motors and features standard +5 VDC optically isolated logic inputs for interfacing with DirectLOGIC PLCs other controllers/indexers. A 9-position DIP switch is used to set up the drive; no software or add-on resistors are required for configuration.

These maintenance-free, self-lubricating housings have excellent mechanical strength, stiffness and dimensional stability. Design engineers have the choice of standard, piloted, double, base mount and metric ball bearings. The bearing housings are available in carbon steel with long-lasting electroless nickel plating, anodized aluminum or 304 stainless steel. The corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic stainless steel housings are suitable for food processing, medical/pharmaceutical, packaging, appliance, chemical and other applications subject to frequent wash-downs.

The MW Type Multiposition Valves offer a great variety of flow configurations, port and fitting sizes, and actuation options. The preload design allows the rotor to be inspected or replaced without removing the valve from the actuator, and if an MW valve is ordered with a VICI microelectric actuator, alignment is always automatic. The valves are available with 4-16 positions, in five configurations ranging from simple steam selection to more complicated trapping functions.
