The first release of the Gardner Denver VST, variable speed two-stage compressors are available in 75, 100 and 125 horsepower. The VST comes standard as a variable speed controlled unit, with a low sound enclosure, dB(A) ratings in the range of 70 to 77, and operating pressures of 100, 125, 150 and 175 psi. The controller can be set for any target pressure between 85 to 175 psi at the touch of a button and cover any flow range from 100% to 20% of total capacity. Each standard package is capable of these pressures and operating flow ranges with no required modifications. The VST controller monitors the performance of the unit in a "real time" basis, advising of irregularities with the compressor or the plant air system.

The Micro TurboMaster oil-free air compressor features a matched set of advanced impeller designs with backward-leaning blades and double-row vaned diffusers to achieve high efficiency over a wide control range. Micro TM has a simple design with only one moving part, the rotor assembly. The balance of the package has been engineered to reduce maintenance and repair costs by minimizing the number of component parts with a finite design life. The intercooler and aftercooler are designed to eliminate the need for chemical cleaning. Micro TM is a complete factory package, incorporating the inlet filter assembly, discharge check valve, cooling water manifold, automatic drain traps and control system within an attractive, sound-attenuating enclosure.

T-G Turbo Compressor

New harsh environment coalescing filters remove 99.99% of oil, water, rust and pipescale particles of 0.01 micron in size and larger from compressed air and other gases. The filters are available with flow capacities to over 700 SCFM. Constructed of 304 stainless, these filters will stand up to the harshest environments such as hospitals, food and beverage, chemical plants, refineries and pulp and paper mills. The product line comes complete with auto drains and a high efficiency filter cartridge installed.

The Benchmark Recip compressor features higher efficiency (19+ EER @ 45/100) and rigid low noise cylindrical housing. This innovative design features a unique suction muffler and robust suction and discharge valve plates.

Bristol Compressors

Balston HFX series Nitrogen Generation Systems produce up to 99.5% pure, commercially sterile nitrogen at dewpoints to ­58°F from a compressed air supply. The generators include a 0.01 micron membrane filter which ensures the nitrogen supply is completely free of suspended impurities. For applications requiring controlling and monitoring, models are available with oxygen monitors which offer LED readouts and remote alarm or chart recorder concentrations.

The QGC 50-200 hp VSD provides stable pressure from a compressor with 85% turndown. It maintains efficiency across the broadest range of demand and provides stable, efficient header pressure. The low demand mode eliminates unloaded power losses. Other features include: 238-1015 acfm delivery, 100-150 psig, PLC controls standard, downstream signal available, TEFC and NEMA options.

Quincy Compressor

The new OIL-X EVOLUTION range of compact compressed air filters has been designed from the outset to meet current and forthcoming requirements for compressed air quality. The design is biased towards efficiency in critical areas, such as air flow management, filtration media selection and construction and the efficient removal of coalesced liquid. The OIL-X EVOLUTION filters use aerospace technology to optimize air flow paths through the filter housing and element, significantly reducing air turbulence and pressure losses which could otherwise consume energy as the compressor worked harder to compensate. A flow distributor ensures that the air stream is evenly distributed throughout the whole of the filter element for maximum filtration performance and energy efficiency.

All three versions are available in the unique WorkPlace Air System concept which allows placement of the compressors virtually anywhere, with or without integrated refrigerant dryers and filters. A no-loss electronic condensate drain removes condensate, using virtually no moving parts, without wasting compressed air. An integrated water separator device reduces the pressure drop, saving on energy.
