The RedHat Next Generation is a new line of solenoid valves that accepts both AC and DC voltages. The valves are ideal for customers who prefer DC-powered valves or those using DC-powered field networks and desiring higher performance valves. In addition, the valves offer dramatically reduced power requirements in AC-voltage applications. The valve's minimal power draw can reduce the size or prolong the life of power supplies. When mounted in cabinets, the valves' lower operating temperatures may eliminate the need for fan ventilation. The model DV509 diaphragm valve is a lightweight valve designed to dispense low to medium viscosity fluids with the benefit of keeping the wetted parts separated from the operating air supply. This is particularly useful in dispensing cyanoacrylates, reagents, UV adhesives and aggressive substances. Diaphragm valves with stainless steel and UHMW bodies are also available. Micro shot sizes are fine tuned using the valve adjustment control. The valve design provides precise control and positive shut-off. The ZS71-NA emergency cable-pull switch with integral pushbutton is IP65 rated. The metal-housed unit features a double-pole contact block offering a choice of one positive-opening N.C. contact and one N.O. contact or two positive-opening N.C. contacts. The series-24 Accu-Drive pressure gauges incorporate the 3D Instruments signature "direct drive difference" Inconel X-750 helical bourdon system. The "direct drive" concept couples the bourdon tube directly to the shaft-pointer, thereby streamlining the design and reducing the number of moving parts from approximately 12 down to 1. Series-24 gauges come with a dampening gel in the bearing. This "shaft dampening" approach isolates the pointer from vibration and pulsation, thereby eliminating the requirement for liquid filling of the pressure gauge case.

Alpha Controls & Instrumentation

The JFC Series combination needle and check valve flow controls are typically used to control air flow from air cylinders, thereby controlling the speed at which the piston strokes, either while extending or retracting, depending on their location in the circuit. The J-Series flow control valves allow free flow from the inlet to the outlet past the needle and check valve. In reverse flow, from the outlet to the inlet, the check valve is sealed and the flow must now pass through the metered passage controlled by the tapered adjustment needle.
