The Dynatup™ 8100 series has been designed for high energy impact testing. With impact energies up to 27,800 Joules and velocities to 7 m/s, this drop weight system is suited for use in laboratories, steel mills and foundries testing large steel or cast-iron specimens and components destined for automotive, aerospace and industrial applications. The testing system is equipped with Impulse™ Data Acquisition System to capture, plot and analyze the entire impact event, providing a comprehensive load and energy record for each test. As a result, the user obtains an exact determination of fracture loads, velocities and energies to ensure consistent test results.

Instron®

The model 476-0 Digital Manometer is designed to measure positive and negative pressure from -20" w.c. to +20" w.c. with ±1.5% full scale accuracy. It features electronic zeroing to null out any minor pressure differences. Auto power off after five minutes conserves battery life. The model is used to set gas supply pressures, adjust regulators, verify pressure switch operation, check pneumatic systems and computer peripherals.

Dwyer Instruments, Inc.

The TRMS clamp-on leakage current meter model 565 is designed to measure low AC currents, which are typically leakage currents in ground conductors. Low currents are measured using the 60mA and 600mA ranges. Leakage current measurements up to 600mA with up to 10uA resolution, on a ground conductor or through the vector sum on multi-conductors can be accomplished. The model 565 may be used as a standard clamp-on meter measuring to 100Arms, as well as measuring VAC and VDC, resistance and continuity with a buzzer, All measurements are displayed on a 4-digit backlit LCD.

AEMC® Instruments

Designed for heavy-duty applications, Checkline's CDT-2000HD Combination Hand-Held Digital Tachometer combines the features of both contact and non-contact tachometers to accurately measure RPM, surface speed and length. A non-contact only version is also available. Both models feature a thick rubber protective shell for increased physical protection and resistance to airborne water or particulate damage. The HIOKI model 3455 5KV insulation tester measures up to 5T-Ohms and uses either fixed outputs from 500V to 5KV, or fine adjustments in 25V and 100V steps. In addition to tests for transformers, cables, and motors, it includes tests for PI, DA and Step Voltage testing for critical breakdown evaluation. The 100 record test memory can be used for later download and analysis with the included software. Other features include backlit bargraph display, auto-discharge, rechargeable battery, lightweight design and ease of use.

RCC Electronics Ltd.

The PHH244 is ideal for water conditioning, beverage, fish hatcheries, laboratory, universities and many other industrial applications. These microprocessor based digital meters are rugged, portable units which are able to recognize and compensate for electrode offset and slope. The meter also features RS232 output, Data Hold, °C or °F selectable, auto shutoff, overload indication and automatic or manual temperature compensation.

OMEGA

The Absolute Coolant-Proof Caliper has SPC output capability (an SPC cable is optional) and is also now available with an 8" as well as the original 6" model. Both models have sealed housings rated IP-65, indicating effective immunity to the coolants, dirt, grit and chips found in harsh manufacturing environments. The caliper has the ability to work in harsh machine shop environments where dirt, grit, oil and heavy coolant spray pose hazards to ordinary electronic gauges. The newly developed Tuning-fork Vibration Method promises high accuracy and wide measurement range without replacing sensor plates. Sine-wave Vibro Viscometer SV-10/SV-100 measures viscosity by detecting the driving elec tric current necessary to resonate the two sensor plates at constant frequency of 30Hz and amplitude of less than 1 mm.

Pocket-sized sensor testers are a convenient solution for confirming output of inductive, photoelectric, capacitive and ultrasonic sensors. Using the TS1-DC, users simple connect sensor via three, easy push-type terminals, or an optional four-pin connector, either way connection and testing are quick and easy. The DirectSense TVOC monitoring kit measures Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs) along with other Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) parameters. It comes with a 10.6eV PID sensor for ppb range or ppm concentration range measurement of TVOCs. Relative humidity and temperature sensors are also included. On-board sensor tips for all parameters include a detailed list of 100+ compounds ionized by the PID sensors, along with common potential IAQ sources and correction factors for these compounds.

GrayWolf Sensing Solutions

The M110 Optoflex™ measuring machine is designed for the dimensional inspection of shafts and shaft-like parts. This flexible, fully automatic measuring system utilizes optoelectronic technology, which allows for the inspection of a wide variety of shaft or shaft-type parts while performing many different types of measurements. Marposs

The Stroke-Test is a novel device that allows testing of critical valves without shutting down the process flow. The system operates on the principle of 'valve partial stroke testing', which allows a safety system to close a valve only partially. So, when a Stroke-Test is fitted to a valve, it limits the movement of the actuator to within pre-set travel limits. This means that all the valve control elements, such as solenoids, positioners and relays are tested, without the valve having to fully close. Since the valve is only partially closed during the test, the flow coefficient is not significantly affected and process flow continues. If the valve is inoperable due to a mechanical failure, misalignment, or some other control anomaly, it will be detected during the partial stroke test.

Smith Flow Control

The Sentinel C-20 pressure decay leak test instrument is designed for simple, fast verification of product leak integrity. Its "Quick Test" feature enables a shorter test cycle time, by detecting obvious accept or reject parts early in the test cycle. The Sentinel C-20 features four part programs including timer, pressure, leak rate, and part change that can be stored and selected from the menu button or remotely selected from a host computer or PLC. Pressure data streaming is also provided for a graphic presentation of the test cycle for time cycle optimization.

Cincinnati Test Systems, Inc.

The 40 EX digital micrometer is a precision measurement hand tool with electronic features. It provides all the advantages of a digital instrument, including direct reading, high resolution, English/metric switchable units, and electronic outputs to data recorders and other electronic equipment. The 40 EX can measure to within .000050"/0.001mm. The flat anvil micrometer is equipped with a ratchet hand drive and spindle lock.
