The HOTO lightweight, handheld stroboscope measures speed of rotating or cycling linear motion without contact or reflective tape. It also virtually freezes motion dead-still and has an easy-to-read auto wide measuring range up to 120,000 fpm/rpm. The unit is ideal for speed, motion and vibration analysis such as rotating shafts, fans, cams, etc, Its memory stores and records for reference or quick retests. The LED is a solid state light source which never needs replacement. The strobe has an external trigger input and output and is tripod mountable.

HOTO Instruments

The FLD100 heavy-duty flow meters are fully enclosed in a brushed stainless steel case. Ideal for industrial applications with flow rates up to 116 GPM and 250 SCFM. This broad line of precision engineered visual flow indicators features independent bolted glass retainers, the use of tempered borosilicate glass and solid investment-cast metal components. The LK-G series laser displacement sensors provide non-contact measurement technology and performance. They have a resolution of 0.0004 Mil, a high-accuracy of ±0.03% and an ultra-fast 50 kHz sampling speed. The Kenmac series modular 85 system is a modular instrumentation interface and mounting system. It includes all of the components needed to put a transmitter into service: manifolds, instrument monoflanges, self-venting single and double purge blocks, electric heaters, steam trace blocks, seal pots, filling connector, and protective shade. Additional components include a choice of two mounting plate assemblies, port protector, purge orifice nipple, manifold kidney flange blank, and anti-tamper key.

The 1000A 3 phase power analyzer/datalogger model 382090 is designed for AC power evaluation, harmonics analysis, motor/generator installation and energy audits. It features four separate clamp-on adapters and measures current to 1000A and Voltage to 600V. In addition to True RMS power, the model measures Active Power (KW), Apparent Power (KVA), Reactive Power (KVAR), Power Factor, Phase Sequence, Active Power Energy (KWh), Apparent Power Energy (KVAh) and Reactive Power Energy (KVARh). It has a built-in recorder that datalogs up to 20,000 sets of measurements and manually logs up to 99 sets with programmable Start/Stop datalogging times.

Extech Instruments

The Series RTD resistance temperature detectors is designed for critical, high temperature applications. The series is constructed with the sensing element encapsulated in a compacted MgO-insulated, metal-sheathed cable for resistance to pressure, shock and vibration. The RTD offers accuracy and stability over a temperature range of -200°to 650°C.

Dwyer Instruments, Inc.

The PLT200 is a battery-powered portable optical tachometer which operates up to 25 feet from a reflective target using a laser light source. It offers remote sensor and remote contact capabilities. The ergonomic design allows safe, direct line-of-sight viewing of both the target and the display at the same time. A TTL output is provided to interface with portable vibration data collectors and balancers or any device, which can accept a TTL trigger.

The Ashcroft Type G2 pressure transducer features 1% total error band accuracy, broad temperature capability, all-welded pressure construction, high EMI/RFI rating, ranges 30 psi through 20,000 psi, housing IP67 rated and diagnostic rails. The AC leakage current probe model 2620 measures leakage current shunted to ground caused by insulation failure, It enables the operator to locate failures when they occur, or anticipate them before they occur, without shutting down equipment or spending hours troubleshooting. It is designed specifically for locating low current faults on high current loads. The detector is a sensitive nickel alloy AC current transformer capable of measuring differential or leakage current as low as 500uA. It may also be used to measure current up to 400A continuous duty. Its 4" jaw opening facilitates both multiple and large con- ductors.

AEMC® Instruments

Two new 17" Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) rear-mount touchmonitors are now available. The 1749L features a wide viewing angle panel and the 1746L a lower spec panel. The MagneStar™ magnetic liquid level gauge provides safe and accurate level indication for a wide range of process applications. Its non-intrusive design maximizes operator safety and minimizes downtime due to leaks or maintenance. Since there is no glass to replace or multiple gaskets to fail, the possibility of catastrophic failure has been nearly eliminated. The device provides accurate liquid level readings at pressures ranging from vacuum to 4,700 psig, and temperatures from ­328° to +842°F. The liquid level readings appear as a bright red-on-white vertical band on an indicator rail that senses the level of fluid in a stainless steel guide tube that bridges the upper and lower levels of a tank, vessel or boiler.
