In-Plant Air Management Profiles
PULSE JET AIR FILTERS
handle high loads

AIRLANCO Pulse Jet Air Filters are built for efficient operation in demanding applications. Particulate-laden air is directed toward a deflector that causes heavier particles to fall directly into the collection hopper. Lighter airborne particles collect on the outside surfaces of the internal bag filters. Filtered air exits the unit. Sequential bursts of compressed air dislodge dust on the surfaces of the bag filters so that it, too, falls into the hopper.

CLEANING SYSTEM
extends filter life

The Roto-Pulse system is an automatic, incrementally rotating filter cleaning system that uniformly cleans 30-40% more filter surface. Roto-Pulse is used on all Micro Air cartridge model air cleaners and dust collectors including portable, source capture, ducted and general capture models from 600 to 50,000 cfm.

BAG HOUSE DUST COLLECTORS
are self-cleaning

The ULTRA-FLOW "BH" Series collectors are self-cleaning bag house dust collectors designed for the Canadian climate. The filters are cleaned automatically by a reverse flush system which requires 40-70% less compressed air, while cleaning 100% of the filter elements. The unique inlet arrangement provides a drop-out to absorb heavy dust loading and resists abrasion. The collector handles all types of dusts and fumes from welding, grinding, polishing and many other finishing operations. Modular design can be easily sized for any air volume requirements and allows the user to add on later when job conditions change.

BUILT-UP BANK SORBENT PANELS
control particulate contaminants

The Camsorb™ CF4A built-up bank sorbent panel assemblies provide high-capacity control of odours, gases and particulate contaminants. The modular assemblies may also be used to reduce outside air requirements by increasing recirculated air, thus saving energy during the heating and cooling seasons. Each adsorber module assembles into a built-up bank of gaseous and particulate filtration with 85 pounds of adsorbent per 2000 cfm, a prefilter of any depth and a final filter of any depth. Adsorber sections feature corrosion-resistant, 16-gauge galvanized steel with integral tracks and an easy-to-access design that facilitates installation and servicing of adsorber panels.

HIGH VACUUM UNITS
are compact and efficient

The new high vacuum series from Nederman comprises two products, the L-Pak 150 and L-Pak 250. Both L-Pak units are fitted with efficient standard filter systems providing a combination of effective cleaning and long life. The heavier particles are separated and collected directly in a bin, while finer particles are trapped by a polypropylene filter with a special surface coating that prevents particles from penetrating the material. Automatic filter cleaning is accomplished by means of a reversed air pulse that cleans the filter of dust, which then falls down into a collection bin.

DIRT AND AIR SEPARATOR
for hydronic systems

The DAS line of dirt and air separators is designed to eliminate entrained air and separate dirt particles associated with the start-up and maintenance of hydronic systems. The DAS utilizes a robust stainless steel coalescing medium, which directs dirt particles of all sizes to collect in the chamber at the bottom of the unit. It also allows the removal of micro-bubbles and entrained air through the air vent located at the top.

PULSE JET FILTER
handles slag dust

The Sly TubeJet® dust collector was custom-built to remove airborne slag. Because of the abrasive nature of the dust, the collector handles 12,000 ACFM at a conservative air-to-cloth ratio of 4:1. The singed polyester filter bags employed by the collector are easily replaced from the top of the collector in a "no-tools-needed" process. The dust collector vents screens, belt transfers, bucket elevators and two crushers.

MIST AND SMOKE ELIMINATOR
is machine mountable

The MistBuster Infinity, rated up to 1000 CFM with its variable speed motor/impeller, is a machine mountable mist and smoke collector. It utilizes a long life media system which will reduce maintenance intervals while providing high efficiency particulate removal. The MistBuster Infinity, utilizes a two stage filtration process to eliminate mist and smoke from the airstream. The first stage mechanical mist impingers capture most of the larger mist droplets which are coalesced and returned to the coolant sump. The second stage is made of a proprietary media which has 288 square feet of cleaning area. Both stages are easily serviced, when needed.

ENCLOSURE COOLING SYSTEMS
for NEMA 4X electrical cabinets

Vortec has expanded its line of Vortex Cooler™ enclosure cooling systems with two new models for NEMA 4X rated electrical cabinets. The stainless steel Panel Guard™ models feature an integral mechanical thermostat to maintain enclosure temperatures within a range of 27-50°C. Requiring only a compressed air supply to operate, the Panel Guard cooler quickly installs in a 1.5" knockout hole to keep electrical control panels cool, clean and protected. The UL-listed Panel Guard models are weatherproof, corrosion-resistant units suitable for wash-down applications and deliver 1500 or 2500 BTUH of refrigeration.

FUME AND DUST COLLECTOR
for plasma and laser tables

The GS4P Gold Series Package fume and dust collector that controls emissions from plasma and laser cutting tables combines high efficiency filtration with ease of use. The collector comes as a fully assembled and pre-wired unit with fan, controls, filters and automatic reverse pulse cleaning system. The user need only remove it from the shipping container and plug it in. The collector is made of rugged 10 and 7-gauge steel, with an easy-to-open access door and modular construction that allows component orientations to be changed to fit individual needs. Special maintenance features include a spark trap inlet for fire prevention, easy-to-remove dust drawers and a cam-lock system that allows easy cartridge removal with no tools required.

PHOTOIONIZATION DETECTOR
supports very low VOC detection requirements

The 2020ppbPRO™ photoionization detector is designed to provide indoor air quality specialists with the ability to do low parts per billion (ppb) VOC analysis with accuracy and precision. The instrument provides 10ppb precision across its dynamic range of 0 to 40 ppm, making it suitable for indoor air quality assessments as well as other hazmat, industrial hygiene and environmental applications where very low detection levels are required. New operating features include the use of activated charcoal tubes to provide accurate "clean air" calibration and humidity reduction tubes to allow more accurate sampling in high humidity environments.

PRECISION DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS
for indoor air quality

Fluke has a new line of indoor air quality (IAQ) test tools. The Fluke 983 Particle Counter is a compact, highly capable tool that enables users to measure the presence of airborne particles and track down particle sources. Its expanded data logging and six-channel particle size display allows users to run more tests faster and spend less time cycling through screens to get the data they need.
