Elasto Proxy announces the fabrication of film spliced automotive style trim seal gaskets. The trim seal can be cut, bonded by film splice and shipped to the manufacturer ready-to-install. The process of manually bonding trim seal gaskets is eliminated. A gasket bonded using film splice technology eliminates the chance of rust due to a virtually seamless, perfectly sealed joint. Film splice technology uses a rubber film along with heat to form a very strong bond to create a gasket that possesses the durability to stand up well against wear and tear over the life cycle of the product for which it has been produced.

MISUMI has launched a new line of welded and cast stand-offs that are available in carbon steel and aluminum for most industrial applications, as well as in stainless steel for medical and semiconductor automation processes. Because more than one stand-off frequently is required in an automation cell, the company takes great care in assuring precise mounting planes between the stand-offs, with parallelism accurate to within .002-inch over a 6-inch run.

New threaded detent pins from Carr Lane are solid alignment pins with a ground shank and a threaded end for a knob handle. Locking balls hold the pin in place by spring force. Simply push to insert, and pull to remove. Threaded detent pins are available in stainless steel only, and have standard shank diameters from 3/16 to 1/2", each in a choice of many standard grip lengths.

The HUH series of heat-exchanger unit heaters is designed for rugged industrial applications in steam, hot water, glycol or other fluid circulating heating systems. The series is designed for pressures and temperatures up to 400 psi and 500°F respectively in single-pass and multi-pass core configurations with multi-pass units improving performance characteristics when used with liquids. HUH heaters are interchangeable with other brands of heaters for greater flexibility. The heaters are designed with cabinet dimensions and mounting holes equivalent to RUFFNECK HP heaters.

The GRAPHALLOY Yoke Style Cam followers offer mounting flexibility for high temperature, low temperature and submerged applications. The cam followers work in temperatures to +750°F and require no grease or oil that can burn off or gum up in cold temperatures or wash out when submerged. Under load, GRAPHALLOY will not soften or extrude. The Yoke Style cam followers, without a stud, easily fit a range of fixed locations and are available as stock items in roller OD from .75 inch to 3.00 inches and roller lengths from .50 inch to 1.75 inch. Typical applications include ovens, furnace doors, control arms, tap gates and tray supports.

The RJ series Solitrons can now switch two or three phases and are suitable to replace electromechanical contactors or mercury contactors in high switching frequency applications. They feature an integral heat sink and they can be snapped onto DIN-rail or mounted to a back chassis. Other standard features include LED indication of control output and optional over-temperature protection. Installation is simplified via cage clamp terminals. They also utilize direct copper bonding technology. The Solitrons are offered in two different housing styles, and can switch up to 32 amps (two phase switched or three phase switched with an integral fan) at 600 VAC.

The Unitronics V290 Touch-screen model contains a complete PLC as well as the HMI in one compact package. It incorporates a 5.7 inch monochrome touchscreen which allows the operator to communicate with the PLC functions. The V290 utilizes snap-on I/O modules. The basic module has 16 digital inputs, two of which are 10 kHz high speed inputs; three, 10 bit analog inputs; 4 transistor outputs; 10 relay outputs and 2 highspeed pulse width modulated outputs in the same package. Up to 255 screens can be programmed using the graphics library included in the program or customized screens can be designed using any bit-map program.

It is used for high accuracy positioning of a hydraulic axis, and for controlling force and velocity. Driven by the patented new VCD® actuator, the D1FP reaches the frequency response of servovalves. It can also be used in applications with pressure drops up to 315 Bar (4500 PSI) across the valve. The D1FP*S is a nominal size 04 (ISO 10372) valve that also uses the new VCD® technology which actuates the spool by using a moveable coil over a permanent magnetic cylinder to eliminate friction.

Built to survive extremely harsh environmental conditions, the DUROPRO range of inductive proximity switches is fully encapsulated in stainless steel. The electronics and the ferrite core of the sensor are well sheltered from liquids, pressure and mechanical force. The one-piece housing is rated IP68, features a 3 port LED indicator, and the sensing face can withstand pressures up to 20 bar. All models feature extended sensing ranges and only one sensor model is needed to sense both ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

The Viking Mag Drive® 855 series internal gear pumps offer reliability through their robust, sealless design, which eliminates seal leakage. The pump's driver turns an outer magnet, whose force passes through a stationary O-ring-sealed canister to turn an inner magnet, which delivers the pump shaft without the need for seals. The pump's features include adjustable end clearance to maximize efficiency and ANSI- or DIN-flanged ports for sealing reliability. They may be close-coupled to NEMA C or IEC B5-flange motors, or long coupled. Its thrust-controlled design allows short-term run dry capabilities. The pumps are designed for easy draining, disassembly, repair and reassembly, with a minimal number of parts.
