HEAVY-DUTY DISCONNECT BLOCK
for utility applications

The WK Series heavy-duty disconnect, screw-clamp terminal block is designed for wired circuit testing and commissioning in the field. Each block is CSA rated to 600V, 27A for 16-26A WG wire sizes making them ideal for heavy-duty breaker panel or other utility applications. The pull-out disconnect pin provides a visual indication of connection via a red band without removing the block from the rail or disrupting wire. When the band is showing, the circuit is disconnected or in the open position. The WK series disconnect block housing is manufactured of thermally stable polyamide 6.6 plastic, with a socket bolt to connect a test plug directly with the current carrying bar. The block also provides a storage slot for the disconnect pin when not in use.

QUICK DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL TABS
are now insulated, crimpable

The insulated PIDG FASTON tabs are a solid tin plated brass tab with nylon insulation around the crimp end. The product can be used in in-line splicing applications along with an appropriate insulated receptacle. Wiring harnesses in a variety of industrial and commercial equipment as well as control systems are potential applications for this product. The nylon insulating sleeve on insulated PIDG FASTON tabs is colour-coded thus providing visual identification for the acceptable wire size. Further, a tinplated copper sleeve inside the insulation supports the nylon while providing strain relief for the wire.

IEC TERMINAL BLOCK
speeds installation

The Allen-Bradley 1492-J screw-type and 1492-L spring-clamp terminal blocks are designed to reduce wiring installation time and increase connection reliability in a broad range of demanding applications. The 1492-J series provides efficiency in applications where multiple wires enter or exit out of a specific terminal block circuit. The 1492-L series offers a faster and more durable connection using spring-clamp technology. The 1492-K insulation displacement connection terminal blocks offer a faster method of connection by eliminating the need to strip the wire before termination. All the IEC terminal blocks are IP2X finger-safe, meet recognized IEC standards and carry CSA and UL ratings.

COLOURFUL FUSE-SUBSTITUTE
reduces downtime

The 1610 series thermal circuit breaker is available with new colour-coded housings. A resettable alternative for standard plug-in type blade fuses for fuse blocks in vehicles with 12V or 24V electrical systems, the 1610 series circuit breaker reduces downtime caused by blown fuses. The colour-coding system corresponds to the colours of blade fuses compliant with DIN 72581 and SAE J1284 standards. Colour identification simplifies maintenance and repairs, reduces errors and increases efficiency. The units are available in a wide range of current ratings easily identified by colour.

BI-DIRECTIONAL CURRENT TRANSDUCERS
offer fast broadband response and accuracy

The 929 series of bi-directional current transducers is capable of accurately following extremely fast (DC and/or AC) current waveforms. It consumes a very low 80 to 270 mW during operation and provides an ultra fast response to complex current waveforms in the range of DC to 350 KHz, making the transducers ideally suited for demanding environments where high speed current monitoring is needed. The 929 series is available in eight models with input current ranges from 0 ADC to ±50 ADC through 0 ADC to ±400 ADC. The transducers come standard with a five-pin terminal barrier and a 0.75" pass-through hole.

CURRENT TRANSDUCER
for stripped-wire relays and assemblies

The HBC0138A AC-to-DC current transducers allow easy, direct mounting to HB's line of stripped-wire relay assemblies. The current transducers provide a simple method to sense AC line currents from 5 to 100 amps and produce a proportional output voltage of 0-10 VDC. These inputs can be used to produce a signal to an analog or digital meter, or can be used by a PC or PLC to provide closed loop control. With 13 models in the series, customers can get units designed for AC input ranges from zero to 100 amps.

ROTARY ENCODER
for motors used in electronics industry

The ERO 1470 rotary encoder is now available without integral bearing and with integrated interpolation electronics, making it especially well suited for motors used in the electronics industry. Among the applications possible for use with this encoder are those in handling and PCB assembly machines. In these type of motor applications, the interface of the subsequent electronics is often purely digital (TTL interface), the installation space for the encoder is limited and a high resolution and repeatability is required for positioning of the components. The 1470 encoder, displaying up to 25-fold interpolation of the scanning signals, makes it a suitable encoder for these uses.
