AutomationDirect now offers Cutler-Hammer Enhanced 50 series of high-performance photoelectric sensors manufactured by Eaton. The offering includes thru-beam, polarized reflex, diffuse and clear object models, all designed to a rugged industry-accepted rectangular package. Available sensing ranges vary from 45 inches to 500 feet. Flexibility of input supply voltages (10-40 VDC and 12-240 VDC/24-240 VAC) and output types (relay, transistor, or solid state relay) makes system integration easy. Features include light/dark operation selection, gain adjustment and multi-colour LED indicators. All sensors are IP67 rated, and are available with a variety of cabling choices, including micro and mini quick-disconnect styles or a 6-ft. integrated cable. Matching cables and mounting brackets are also available.

These new swing clamps offer top flange mounting, allowing the body of the clamp to be hidden below the fixture surface, providing more room at the top of the fixture for parts. An integrated safety clutch mechanism protects the part and the swing clamp from misloaded parts or a misaligned arm. A special Viton® wiper seal provides resistance to aggressive coolant and hot chips. The family of swing clamps has 4 piston sizes, in clamping forces from 1200 to 8100 lbs. Each piston size has 4 stroke lengths. If you factor in the 7 swing options (clockwise swing and counterclockwise swing, each with a choice of 90, 45, 60 or 0 degree swing), there are 84 double acting versions and 28 single acting versions available. Options include mounting with standard tubing or manifold mounting. Use with fluid pressure up to 7500 psi max.

EADmotors' NEMA size 23 brushless DC motor now features an integrated drive for simplified motor control. The new internal drive provides all necessary control and interface functions needed for speed and direction control of the motor. The integrated drive adds a mere 1 inch to the motor length, keeping the package size compact for easy integration into new or existing size 23 motor applications. Permanently lubricated ball bearings and dynamically balanced rotors reduce audible noise and vibration while ensuring reliability and extended motor life. The Hi-Tech line of CVD hose is constructed of clear, flexible PVC and is offered in four styles to match specific dust, fume removal and ventilation requirements. There is a general purpose CVD version with a .030" thick wall; lighter CVD.020 with a .020" thick wall for enhanced compressibility; a CVD-AP which is all-plastic, reinforced with a rigid green PVC helix and has a very smooth interior; and a CVD-SC static conductive version. Applications range from food grade and pharmaceutical requirements to woodworking dust removal, laboratory and landfill fume removal and leaf collection.
