ifm efector's new line of miniature magnetic cylinder sensors incorporate Giant Magnetoresistive technology (GMR) to provide extremely high sensitivity to magnetic fields in pneumatic cylinder applications. With the integration of GMR technology, ifm's magnetic sensors offer high accuracy, excellent repeatability, fast response times, and immunity from long-term effects of magnetic fields. The OptoShield OS3100 Laser Light Safety Scanner has the ability to adapt to both dynamic and irregular hazardous environments. It features two detection zone sets that can be externally selected to monitor changing hazardous areas, without the need for additional controls. The scanner provides diagnostic communications that include a two-digit numeric display, four standard LED status indicators and patented intrusion indicators that identify where the safety zone is encroached without the need for difficult diagnostic searches and an external computer display. Intuitive configuration software facilitates easy navigation and configuration, allowing OptoShield to be configured to an unlimited number of guarding arrangements.

IDENT Control is a comprehensive real-time RFID product identification and data collection solution for inventory, part identification, routing and error tracking applications. It features a graphical display and configuration keys for easy setup and operation and a cast aluminum housing for rugged durability and exceptional noise immunity. Short range and long range RFID read/write data carriers can operate simultaneously and can read data up to 120mm and 2m away, respectively. The system provides an interface to commonly used bus systems, including Ethernet (TCP/IP and Modbus/TCP), PROFIBUS, and RS232 serial communication.

The Rapid Replacement Module (RRM) cuts equipment downtime and makes change-out of transducer electronics quick and easy by allowing rapid field replacement without removal of the pressure tube from the hydraulic cylinder. During the replacement process, there is no danger from oil spillage and no need for environmental containment procedures. There is also no need to bleed air from the hydraulic system and no danger of dirt entering the open hydraulic port. RRMs are available for all Balluff transducer types except Profibus, CANopen and ProSet 4.

The versatile series 24 control switch relay (CSR) provides both manual and supervisory control of power circuit breakers. The unit's blade-and-terminal construction and simple stacking procedures allow up to 20 independent contacts in the same deck. Custom contacting is also available. Contact ratings are 60 amps for one minute and 30 amps continuous, at up to 600 VAC. A built-in bipolar diode enables the unit to withstand transients on the control bus up to 3.5 KV. Configurable for various power industry applications, the series combines the functions of a control switch and a remote-controlled solenoid -- no special wiring required.

This Linear Phase Angle Controller offers true linear AC output phase angle control and accepts a variety of inputs. Manufactured as an assembly, the unit consists of an engineered phase controller, solid-state relay, and a heat sink appropriately sized for the application; DIN Rail mounting is standard on most models. The controller assembly allows for 50-60 Hz operation and is suitable for switching inductive loads. Standard features include line voltage compensation, soft start, transient overvoltage protection, adjustable voltage limiting and LED status indication.

Chainflex® CF21 and CF27 high-flex servo cables supply power for factory automation, performing through millions of cycles, under long or short travel conditions and at a small bend radius of 7.5 times the outer diameter of the cable. Chainflex CF21 and CF27 both assume a similar conductor construction of four power conductors and one or two signal pairs. They both meet industry standards with UL, CSA and CE approval. They are oil-resistant, flame-resistant and UV-resistant. CF21 is an all-around servo cable with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer jacket.
