An illuminated signage option is available for Extech's SL120 sound level monitor. The new kit includes an SL120, a 120V AC adaptor, a single-sided 110V AC illuminated light box with red translucent face and an AC alarm relay module with 9' cable. Designed to examine area decibel levels and alert users when pre-set limits are exceeded, the ANSI Type 2, IEC 651 and SL120 monitor with warning signage is ideal for industrial environments by encouraging employees to take hearing protection measures. As a stand-alone device, tripod or wall mounted in factories, plants, refineries, or any other industrial area where noise level is a concern, the SL120 can be strategically placed to monitor entire areas.

PHUCN600 and PHUTX600 Series are packaged in a rugged NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure making it suitable for heavy-duty applications such as industrial wastewater neutralization, municipal water and wastewater, pulp and paper, and process control. The PHUCN600 series multi-parameter controller is a microprocessor-based controller capable of measuring one of the following parameters, pH, ORP or conductivity. Complete and versatile the PHUTX600 is a 1/4 DIN two wire transmitter which can measure conductivity, pH or ORP. It comes complete with a universal mounting kit for surface, panel and pipe-mount applications. The NEMA 4X 1/4 DIN enclosure is suitable for stand-alone or panel- mount operation.

Spiked needle strips are used to prevent birds from alighting on rooftops, ledges, sills, building projections, trusses and beams, etc. They are engineered of 100% post-industrial scrap plastic. Discarded plastic products are ground, formed into pellets, melted, dyed and moulded into spikes. The spikes themselves project up and out from their base at varying angles to prevent bird landing and roosting. Outer spikes have additional spiked branches to offer full, dense coverage. The transparent polycarbonate plastic material is durable, weather- and UV-resistant and unobtrusive. It is flexible enough to install on straightaways, curves, corners and irregular surfaces.

The Nordex panel mount oil impregnated bronze bearings are designed for mounting shafts in metal panels. They are easily installed by inserting them into punched or drilled holes and applying parallel installation forces. Inch and metric dimensions are provided and a wide variety of bearings are available in 303 passivated stainless steel with maximum panel hardness of 70 on the Rockwell B scale with optional zinc plated 1144 carbon steel retainer material requiring a maximum panel hardness of 65 B.

The Keyence LT-9000 series of laser confocal displacement meters provide accurate 0.01 micron thickness measurements on transparent objects using a single sensor head, even when target surfaces are wet, angled or irregular. Multiple measurement modes include: profile measurement, transparent object thickness measurement, angle measurement and cross-sectional area measurement. The sensor head incorporates a built-in CCD camera that provides a microscopic image of the target surface. Typical LT measurement applications include: semiconductor, printed circuits, optics, packaging and electrical motors.

The 1/2 NPT Super Air Nozzle™ delivers 3.3 pounds of strong blowing force when mounted 12" away from the target. The force is more than four times that of ordinary air nozzles, making it suitable for blowing heavy materials or for applications where the air nozzle can't be mounted close to the surface to be blown off, dried or cooled. Its aerodynamic design directs the air to a single point of convergence, delivering a concentrated stream of high velocity airflow with hard hitting force measured in pounds, not ounces. The compressed air is ejected through a series of holes located in recessed grooves on the nozzle's surface. The zinc aluminum alloy construction makes the 1/2 NPT suitable for rugged industrial applications.

EXAIR Corporation

Swagelok® GU series needle valves isolate and vent system media in instrument air, nitrogen header, lube oil, and general utility service applications in the oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, and other general industrial markets. Offered in stainless and carbon steel, the GU series valve can be ordered in straight and angle patterns with a choice of end connections in sizes from 1/4 to 1 inch (6 to 25mm). The valve features operating pressures up to 6000 psig at 200°F (413 bar at 93°C). A sour gas service model is also available.

The TorqCheck Torque Tester is a highly accurate (+/­ 1% of reading) and easy to use instrument for testing and calibrating click type torque wrenches. It has a capacity of 250 lbf.ft (350 Nm) and is available in either foot pound or Newton Meter versions. Its digital display makes it easy to read and the one button operation makes it virtually impossible to set up improperly. TorqCheck Plus is available as a multi scale, multi mode downloadable version suitable for click type, dial and electronic wrenches. It has a user selectable "Limit" feature and will calculate whether the readout is within tolerance, and light one of three coloured LEDs to indicate low, okay or high.

The "Two-In-One" self-igniting Microtorch® model MT-51H is designed for shrinking and terminating environmental connectors, soldering and desoldering, and for use in industrial, commercial and automotive applications requiring heating, shrinking or igniting materials. The AZM 200 non-contact, tamper-resistant, safety door handle system is designed for use as a combination door handle and safety interlock switch on medium-to heavy-weight hinged guards. Each unit features a non-contact, solenoid-latching keyed interlock that is disengaged using the external door handle. In addition it features an internal, red, emergency egress handle that enables the operator to shut down the equipment and open the guard/access door from inside the manufacturing cell. The unit also features two PNP safety outputs, an array of three LEDs for status reporting and rapid diagnostics and an easy-to-install slotted mounting system. Suitable for use in high-risk systems requiring up-to-safety category 4 (SIL 3) protection, the AZM200 is ideal for robotic cells or where other rugged, reliable access control and emergency-egress capability is required.

The 8000 series power roll-up doors are available for door openings of up to 12' x 12'. It improves employees'; comfort by resisting light interior drafts with its heavy-duty, flame retardant fabric, and flexible internal wind bars. Additional safety features include the standard photo sensor and the optional bottom safety edge. A quick door-opening speed improves traffic flow while controlling the climate and reducing energy costs.
