OMEGA's RD-87 series consists of six strip chart recorders for monitoring J thermocouple readings, temperature, temperature/humidity, voltage, current, or 4 to 20 mA input. All have an LCD display and record on a 100 mm wide strip chart using a single pen, except for the two-pen temperature/humidity model. The full-function alarm can be set to sound when measurements exceed set limits. To prevent nuisance alarms caused by brief variations, alarm activation can be delayed by a specified amount of time.

OMEGA

Cassco's new COMMAND CENTER Control System is available on all Cassco Machines' equipment from the smallest hot stamping presses up to their large assembly and automation systems. The new system incorporates all of the features of the existing system controllers with the added benefit of being able to control multiple temperature zones, multiple machines, servo drives, rotary and linear tables, clipping and cropping stations, automatic screwdrivers, heat staking, hot stamp, heat transfer and other options. Utilizing remote I/O, the system can be expanded almost without limits while maintaining the base control in a clean, compact package and CAN Bus allows inter connectivity with a wide range of other control, switching and plant monitoring systems.

Cassco Machines

Arbor Automation designs industrial material handling systems with modular design and multiple levels. Customized system integration allows the components to operate as one system -- ensuring maximum throughput. All systems are controlled by electrical panels. Parts are accurately fixtured on pallets and can be automatically diverted to multiple operations. The systems allow many part configurations on one line and are scalable for additional upgrades as products change. Nordex Flexing Couplings are available in two styles: Six Beam Couplings when flexibility is needed and Three Beam Couplings for more torsionally rigid requirements. Both styles offer no backlash and are reversible. Flexing couplings are available in stainless steel or aluminum material, with set screw or clamp hubs. Inch and Metric sizes, as well as special bore combinations and plastic materials, are available on request.

Nordex Incorporated

The new vacuums, available in three sizes, are suitable for use with Dynabrade Vacuum-Ready Tools. The electric portable vacuum systems are available in two sizes, 9.9 gallon or 17 gallon. The systems feature a variable speed control, automatic on/off switch, a Tilt and Clean Drum, and HEPA filtration for retaining 99.97% of ultra fine particles as small as 0.3 microns in diameter. A pneumatic portable vacuum system, with a 10-gallon capacity, features "Spark-Free Operation". It includes two 16' coaxial hose assemblies, a water-resistant washable filter element and an air flow adjustment dial. A variety of accessories is also available.

Dynabrade, Inc.

The 445815 Humidity Alert Meter is ideal for monitoring environmental conditions (temperature, humidity and dew point) in manufacturing assembly areas, storage areas, laboratories and other controlled environments. It features a settable alarm and will warn users, both audibly and visually, when adverse conditions occur. The meter calculates and displays the Dew Point reading which is a calculation of temperature and humidity and used to determine when condensation will occur. It features a remote probe that can either clip onto the meter or extend on an 18 inch cable, where the user can take measurements behind walls, in ducts or other areas that are difficult to access.

Extech Instruments

The Fluke 68IS infrared thermometer is a non-contact thermometer specifically designed for reliability and added user safety when measuring surface temperature in potentially explosive or flammable environments. With a temperature range of ­32 to 760°C, it can spot measurement, temperature differential and scanning techniques to monitor surface temperature, helping to locate potential blockages or malfunctioning systems for improved equipment performance. It holds and logs temperature measurements to memory, displays minimum, maximum and average measurements and has an adjustable emissivity setting.

Fluke Electronics Canada

The PELA Pro 14 is composed of a pump that's integrated with a container. After dropping the tube into the fluid, simply pump 20 to 25 times in a row to create a powerful vacuum. Then watch the fluid drain neatly into the large 14 liter container. Since the unit is translucent and calibrated, it lets the user know how much fluid has been extracted. To prevent an overflow, a built-in float switch automatically shuts off extraction as soon as capacity is reached. Applications include oil changes on industrial machinery, removing fluid from the bottom of drums, etc.

PELA Products

The Guardian™ Sucker-Rod Pump Controller (SRP™) increases production, improves energy efficiency and enhances the reliability of both new and existing pump solutions with the integration of motor control, speed optimization, logic, pump fill control and rod load control into a single, compact solution. At any instant during the life of a well or within a pump cycle, there is a single constraint that limits production. The Guardian SRP forces the system to operate at the particular constraint at each instant of time. The SRP precisely determines polished rod and down-hole pump position, velocity and load without requiring external rod position or load sensors. These sensorless system variables are observed through monitor displays or recorded as time-based graphical plots for later use and review.

R&M Energy Systems

Both the 840 series belt cutter and the Clipper® 845LD belt cutter provide safe, accurate square cuts for belts with thicknesses up to 25mm. Both products share improved safety features that protect users and prevent accidents during and after cutting. The blades remain fully enclosed during cutting procedures. They also feature a flat top design, providing protection from the tip when the upper beam is opened. Following use, the blades can be positioned in a protected area on either end of the cutter.

Flexible Steel Lacing Company

At only 0.58mm thick the KMX series low profile, keypad tact switches employ an extremely slim switch design. Normally open, the switches close with an audible click, a robust mechanism that is certified for 250,000 cycles. The long travel distance also supports a better feeling for the user than a standard keyboard. With area dimensions of 4.3mm x 4.1mm, the series also saves PCB space. Each switch attaches to the board via four gull-wing terminals, providing good co-planarity and reliability.

VIBROWEB is a compact online condition monitoring and diagnosis system for production critical machines and aggregates. The application range includes: standard machines (motor, pump, fan), machines with variable speed/load (gear, extruder) and sleeve bearings. The system measures time waveform, spectrum, envelope, orbit, shock pulse, acceleration (RMS), vibration velocity (peak RMS). VIBROWEB is particularly suitable for process critical systems that run with variable speed and load and for heavily loaded machines with a rapid damage development.

Hyatt Industries

Amaprop submersible propeller-type mixers are an ideal solution for maintaining circulation in large volumes of liquid. They come with extra-large, smooth-running propellers and are particularly suited to municipal or industrial wastewater treatment facilities. The large-dimension, glass-fibre, reinforced epoxy resin propellers are virtually unbreakable. They come in one-piece (single vane) and weigh approximately 50 percent less than conventional propellers. The Amaprop propellers feature KSB's ECB (Ever Clean Blade) profile to eliminate abrasion and clogging -- even in fibre-rich, activated sludge.
