Two new adhesives are ideal for bonding galvanized, galvanneal, or Galvalume® metals. Flex Welder FC (Fast Cure) methacrylate adhesive and Dev-Thane 5 urethane adhesive can replace welding, minimizing unsightly distortion of thin panels in the assembly of truck trailers, truck and bus bodies, metal signs, etc. Flex Welder FC is designed for the quick and permanent assembly of products subject to flexing, shock, vibrations or variations in temperature up to 250°F. Dev-Thane 5 also forms tough yet flexible bonds on many substrates, including metals, rubber, concrete, wood, foam, EPS, and ABS.

Master Bond's EP17 is a new toughened one component heat curing epoxy adhesive/sealant. It has a service operating range of -300°F to as high as 600°F and is formulated to cure at temperatures from 300°F to 350°F for 60-90 minutes. EP17 bonds well to a variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, vulcanized rubbers and many plastics. It has excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals including fuels, acids, bases, oils and many solvents.

In addition to cutting tape to the desired size, the EZ-7000 RP dispenser can remove the back liner from the tape, delivering a ready-to-apply piece to the operator. It has four operating modes. The putty dries at room temperature to form a thermally and electrically insulating ceramic. Cures can be accelerated with mild heat. Thermeez 7020 is resistant to oxidizing and reducing atmospheres, molten non-ferrous metals steam, most chemicals and solvents.

The Scapa 707 is a polyester film double coated with a silicone adhesive on one side and an acrylic adhesive on the other. The product features two release liners and is formulated for general purpose bonding, foam fabrication, precision die cutting, and splicing silicone coated papers and films. Scapa 707 offers excellent adhesion to silicone gaskets, foams and sponges. This highly conformable tape contours well to intricate parts and provides good chemical resistance, excellent quick stick and holding power. It exhibits excellent adhesion to silicone foams and is ideal for high or low temperature gasket sealing.

The green-coloured pre-applied NYSEAL® sealing element eliminates the time-consuming in-house application of O-rings, gasket seals and sealant compounds by creating a gasket-like seal at pressures up to 500 psi. The coating is permanently fused on the bearing surface of the fasteners, eliminates the leak path and will not work loose. As the screw is seated in its final position against the mating part, the NYSEAL element compresses slightly and fills the void under the bearing surface of the head and countersink or bore.

The VC-1195A valve controller allows for control of one or two dispensing valves. When dispensing medium to high viscosity materials using a valve, the normal spring return action may be too slow. To speed up the return/closing cycle and to eliminate dripping , it is recommended to use the VC-1195A valve controller to control both the ON and the OFF cycle of the valve. By using air to both open and close the valve, the valve controller provides much 'crisper' valve closing.

There is no need for moulds, fixtures or clamps as it is easily applied without running, dripping or sagging. Its sticky consistency will hold assemblies or parts together while curing. Hardening in only 4 to 8 minutes, it has excellent adhesion to smooth, rough or porous surfaces, most plastics, metals, ceramics, glass, wood, etc.

VST Acrylic Foam Tapes feature a solid foam that will outlast air-filled foams, an acrylic adhesive capable of up to 25 lbs./in. peel strength, depending upon type and substrate, and can be supplied with paper or polyethylene liners.
