PLC PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE for DirectLOGIC plcs AutomationDirect announces the launch of DirectSOFT5 PLC programming software. DirectSOFT5, the 32-bit Windows certified programming software for the entire DirectLOGIC line of PLCs, contains many new features that make ladder logic programming faster and easier. The most important improvement is the addition of "Iboxes", modularized instructions that perform simple to complex ladder logic. Common tasks such as configuring analog cards, programming equations, configuring CTRIO high-speed counters, or programming an ON/OFF delay timer can require multiple lines of ladder code. Using the Ibox reduces these processes to a simple programming block with fill-in-the-blank parameters. Over 60 Ibox instructions are available in categories such as memory, discrete and analog helpers, math, communications, and CTRIO high speed counters. AutomationDirect

SINGLE MACHINE moves heavy loads The Super Pusher has a push capacity of up to 150,000 lbs (68,000 kg) and more, and pulls heavy loads along too. It is a new load mover that is finding use in industry for moving manufactured and modular homes, military equipment, engine blocks, vehicle bodies, heavy machinery, dies and tools, and much more. An operator and the Super Pusher can usually do the job single-handedly. Custom attachments are available for specific applications. It requires little or no maintenance and is easy to park and store. Power Pusher Canada

INDUSTRIAL AIR
COMPRESSORS for point-of-use facility installations The Sullair 3000, Sullair 3700 and Sullair 4500 air compressors are designed for point-of-use facility installations. This series of compressors is designed to make service and routine maintenance faster, simpler and more efficient, minimizing production downtime and creating a cleaner, safer work environment. All standard compressor maintenance can be performed from one side of the machine and the compressor's fluid level can be checked without opening the doors. The series also features a fully sealed environmental protection pan to capture spills that may occur during servicing. The 3700 series compressors are compact enough to fit through a standard 36" door width and operate at a low level of 68 dba. Sullair Corporation
