RIGID COLUMN MANIPULATOR

A new overhead-mounted Rigid Column Manipulator offers the stability of a floor-mounted unit with the range of an overhead system and load capacities greater than telescoping models. Suspended from a bridge-crane style, overhead system, the unit achieves fine vertical adjustment along a linear rail system offering X, Y, and Z-axis positioning throughout a large work zone. This eliminates potential dangers of swinging loads handled solely by hoists. The vertical movement can be powered electrically or pneumatically (with shop air) and the versatile manipulator can be configured for a variety of applications using arms, booms, or custom-engineered end effectors.

PRESSURE TRANSMITTER

The PI Series two-wire, loop-powered pressure transmitter features a 4-digit integrated LED display that provides continuous indication of pressure value. The transmitter's programmable display offers simple pushbutton setup that enables adjustment of the scaleable analog output. The two-wire sensor retrofits existing pressure transmitters and is easy to wire. The 316 stainless steel unit is rated IP69K and tested to withstand high-pressure cleanings and extreme washdown conditions. PROFIBUS ANGULAR ENCODER

The MagRes Profibus is a highly compact, self contained absolute multi-turn encoder designed to fit easily into space restricted environments. The encoder's high density housing features two M12 input and output plugs for easy, wiring-free integration into Profibus-DP systems. Designed to monitor and control position or speed, the MagRes Profibus offers 13 bit resolution in single-turn and 16 bit resolution in multi-turn versions. Simply installed using compatible connectors, the encoder allows the bus address to be conveniently set using rotary switches, although an integrated terminal resistor can be installed. LED indicators display the status of the encoder and the net work communications.

POLYMER MAKE-UP UNIT

The POLYMORE in-line polymer make-up unit provides a complete dissolving and dosing system for liquid concentrated emulsion or dispersion polymers. It can be installed in-line, i.e. it dissolves and doses continuously the quantity of polymer corresponding to the process consumption. The multi-zone mixing chamber provides a homogeneous and activated polymer solution. The unit uses a peristaltic (tube) metering pump which needs less maintenance and needs no calibration as it has only one control for pump capacity. The units are designed for wall mounting and space efficiency.

PORTABLE CIRCULAR CHART

The CTXL SUPERECORDER(tm) displays, charts and logs two processes on a 1, 7, or 32-day basis. It comes in three models: temperature/relative humidity, dual-thermocouple input, and dual-process input. The temperature/humidity model ranges are -17 to 49°C and 2 to 98% RH. Programmed through a convenient front keypad, the CTLX provides many functions, such as min, max, average readings; hi/low alarms and two built-in relays; RS232 interface; storing of process data in non-volatile memory; and chart re-scaling. A versa tile remote sensor probe is included.

The VMS400 mini spool valve is suitable for a broad range of low to high viscosity fluids. Up to 700 lbs fluid pressure can be applied, which makes it possible to dispense viscous fluids, such as pastes and gels. It has an adjustable Suck-Back so that the fluid cut-off at the end of the cycle can be finely adjusted. This feature not only ensures a smooth finish to an accurate shot program and bead path sequence but reduces waste and rework expense. The minimum shot size is 0.1cc. A mini spool valve is suitable for applications requiring precision and repeatability in shot cycling, bead paths and gaskets where smaller sizes are required,

The "Q-Check" universal machine vision controller is designed for the most demanding industrial applications, fixed or mobile. CHARGING SYSTEMS

The CM 30 (30 kV) and CM 60 (60 kV) electrostatic charging systems supply the high voltage for charging bars and various charging applicators, which are used to temporarily bond materials. The Chargemaster CM is a switch-mode, power factor corrected, power supply. The unit's output current is electronically restricted and projected against arcing. The output voltage can be set between 0 and the unit's maximum voltage (30 kV or 60 kV). The power supply incorporates functions for remote on/off, remote voltage adjustment and voltage and current display.

Guyson has designed a compact blasting cabinet that can be comfortably and productively used by a seated operator. The Model SBP-40 blast system can be equipped for use with a wide variety of media for work such as deburring, deflashing, descaling, cosmetic finishing or technical surface preparation. The SBP-40 blast chamber is 48 cm x 81 cm x 61 cm, and the cabinet has an extra large abrasion-protected safety glass viewing window. The interior of the blasting enclosure is illuminated by an adjustable flood light that ensures good visibility. The Flowserve Gestra UNA 38 steam trap is designed to drain high flow rates of high-pressure condensate from steam systems. Energy-efficient and heat-conserving, the steam traps maximize the retention of process steam, direct the flow and timing of condensate and incondensable gas release, and preserve wear on downstream equipment, such as valves. STEAM PRESSURE REGULATOR

The Type ED pilot-operated steam pressure regulator is designed for steam distribution systems, distinct heating systems, pressure control for steam plants and single, two stage or parallel reduction. Available in cast iron or cast steel, in sizes 3/8" to 12", for pressures to 600 PSIG and temperatures to 750F, the pressure regulator accurately controls operations within +/- 1 PSIG of set pressure. This regulator requires no external power signal, responds quickly to changes in load and is available with a variety of special construction features such as balancing to accommodate high turn down, liquid and low differential service.

INFRARED CHAMBER HEATER

The ChamberIR Model E4 infrared heater focuses high-density infrared energy generated by 'T3-style', halogen lamps, onto a cylindrically shaped target area. Its elliptical chamber is designed for rapid heating of small size continuous materials such as tube, cable and wire with an outer diameter less than 6mm. Typical applications are curing small-diameter silicone tubing, reglossing small-diameter plastic tubing, burning lubricant off extruded wire, curing coatings or adhesives on wire or cable, and drying water from wire or cable. The E4 may also be used as a high temperature furnace in test applications.

COOLANT FILTER SYSTEM

The Sludge Masters Coolant Filter System is designed to extend coolant life by preventing the accumulation of contaminants anywhere in the system. Available models range from flush rates of 20 gpm to 250 gpm of clean coolant provided to the machine and combine the circulation, filtration and evacuation process into a continuous coolant management system that has few moving parts. The system has media-free filtration, so it is virtually maintenance free.
