DISPENSING SYSTEM
provides quick tube connection

The Autotube dispensing system provides a method of dispensing all the material contained in a collapsible "toothpaste type" tube. The dispenser provides a quick connection within a cartridge protected by a high-pressure metal retainer and quick-snap cap. The retainer can be inserted in a gun handle with trigger switch or mounted on a stand and activated using a foot switch. The model DSP501A dispenser controls the dispense cycle. Upon operation of the gun trigger or foot switch, the dispenser sends a timed air pulse to the cartridge containing the tube. The tube is evenly subjected to the timed air pressure resulting in no mess, no waste, precise deposits, higher production yields and operator comfort.

PROCESS MONITORING CAMERA
available in three wavelengths

The Mikron M7500 infrared camera is configurable for midwave or longwave imaging and four different temperature bands. Its patent-pending "spectral tuning" technology enables the M7500 to image in the midwave bands of 3.9 microns (furnaces and boilers through flames) and 4.8-5.2 micron (for glass) in a temperature range of 400°C-1600°C. For widest possible monitoring flexibility, the M7500 features two standard temperature ranges of 40°C 120°C and 0°C-500°C in 8-14 micron long-wave mode, for typical thermal monitoring applications, being unaffected by sunlight or factory lighting. It provides temperature measurement accuracy of +/2°C for applications in glass, ceramics, food processing, paper, textiles, electronics, hydrocarbon/chemical processing and others.

LOW-HEIGHT LIFT PLATFORM
for assembly operations

The newly designed 3,000-lb. capacity low-height lift table for assembly operations has a lowered platform height of only 3 inches and a vertical lift of up to five feet. It does not require a recessed pit for installation and can be integrated with other material handling equipment to facilitate the customer's flexible manufacturing schedule. The first installed system is in use at an automotive plant where complete interior seating systems are powered onto the lift table by an integrated power conveyor and indexed up to various levels, with seating systems then sent to a sequenced staging area.

LINEAR DRIVE OPTION
simplifies operation

Uhing now offers an option for its model RG rolling ring linear drive assemblies whereby the end stop assemblies are fitted with specially machined v-shaped cams to decrease the linear speed of the drive prior to reversal without using electronic controls or reducing motor speed. After reversal, the cams permit smooth ramp up of the drive speed eliminating possible whipping action of tools such as spray heads or cutting blades. Because ramp down/up of linear speed is mechanically controlled, independent of the motor, operation of the drive is simple requiring only minimal operator training.

VERTICAL SWIVEL LOCK
featured on heavy-duty casters

Hamilton Caster introduces a vertical swivel lock on its heavy-duty casters to meet the demand for more ergonomic-friendly industrial casters. The new swivel lock design is mounted at a 90° angle to the top plate providing much easier access to the operator. The new design reduces the amount of bending required by the operator thereby reducing the risk of worker injury. The swivel lock provides fingertip conversion of a swivel caster to a rigid caster for straight line steering control. A spring-loaded plunger positively engages slots milled in the swivel horn base. When retracted, the plunger sits in a vertical notch in the housing to hold it clear of the swivel horn.

BENCHTOP PERISTALTIC DISPENSER
offers high precision dispensing

The Loctite® benchtop peristaltic dispenser is a reliable volumetric dispense system for single component, low viscosity fluids. Designed for highly precise dispensing applications that require both dot to dot or continuous bead repeatability, this equipment transfers adhesives directly from the bottle to the hand held dispense valve. It is electromechanically operated and uses pressure from a mechanical rotor rather than a pneumatic air source to move adhesives or solvents with viscosities up to 5000 cPs. This air-free dispensing method essentially eliminates the problem of premature curing with air/moisture sensitive products.
