The Series 641RM monitors air flow. This transmitter uses a heated mass flow sensor, which allows for precise velocity measurements at various flow rates and temperatures. Its 16 field selectable ranges from 0-250 to 15,000 FPM provide its versatility to be selected for a multitude of applications. The unit's 6' cable which connects the sensing probe with the electronic enclosure allows the enclosure to be mounted where it can be more easily accessed. Longer cable lengths are available for ducts that are at very high elevations from the plant floor. The optional LED produces a complete, compact solution for local indication of air flow.

ITM Instruments

The PX70 series pressure sensors comes packaged in a transistor (TO-5) case suitable for PC board mounting. It is available in full-scale ranges from 0.3 to 100 psi and in four standard package options -- no fitting, top fitting, bottom fitting and differential. For gage and absolute ranges, the PX71 can be ordered without fittings, while the PX72 has a top-mounted tube fitting (bottom is vent). The PX73, also available, in gage ranges, has a bottom tube fitting (top is vent). For differential measurements, the PX74, with top and bottom tubes, can be used for uni-or bi-directional results. PX70 models are compatible with clean, dry, non-corrosive gases.

OMEGA

The PVM 100 is a handheld meter that measures equipment vibration in terms of acceleration, velocity and displacement. Simply attach the accelerometer, press one button to select acceleration, velocity and displacement, and hold it down to freeze in the Metric or English output on the large digital display. Plant managers who need to further pinpoint a noise source can plug headphones into the top-mounted jack. Included are a 784A accelerometer, a six-foot cable, a PT2 probe tip, a B3 magnetic mount, and an SF6 mounting stud.

The iglide® 510 is the first plastic bearing to withstand extreme temperatures up to 500°F, while delivering high resistance to pressure and retaining dimensional stability. It is also the first bearing to offer a maximum load of 43,000 PSI. This high-load capacity makes it a viable choice for outdoor and heavy-equipment applications such as truck lifts, conveyor systems, construction vehicles and tractors. ThorPlus® is a new proprietary engineered (non-elastomer) thermoplastic bearing for industrial journal bearing applications. Its increased strength and rigidity allows working pressures in an interference fit bearing up to 31Mpa (4500 PSI). It also has an improved ability to operate at elevated temperatures -- max. continuous service temperatures of 80°C in water and 110°C dry. Typical applications include high pressure, relatively non-abrasive, industrial bearings and an obvious replacement for greased bronzed bushings.

Schaffner has updated its NSG 438 ESD system to provide more convenient operator control as well as to meet current and future industry standards. It is suitable for automotive industry applications that require testing with multiple R-C (resistor-capacitor) network values. The NSG 438 detects the occurrence of actual discharges, allowing the counter or the pre-selection counter to only register actual discharge events. This feature prevents false counts when discharges have not occurred, which is a particular advantage in long test runs where an accurate count is required.

AutomationDirect now offers certain 22mm metal pushbuttons without contact blocks. Momentary flush and extended operators are now available in red, green, or black. These pushbuttons have 30mm actuators and mount in a 22mm hole. Each pushbutton includes the operator and support base only. Both pushbutton styles are CSA, IMQ (where specified), and UL approved. Normally open and normally closed contact blocks can be purchased separately in packs of either two or five. The contact blocks can be mounted up to three deep and two wide.

AutomationDirect

The Preso PTTF ultrasonic transit time clamp-on integral mount flow meter uses time of flight ultrasonic technology to measure most clean liquids containing moderate amounts of suspended solids or aeration. The non-invasive unit provides easy installation by clamping on the outside of existing pipe systems ranging in size from 1/2" to 2". It is designed to replace mechanical flow meters in applications where liquid conditions tend to damage or impede mechanical flow meter operation.
