AutomationDirect has extended its line of Edison fuses to include the J, RK1, and RK5 classes of fuses to provide protection for motors, transformers and other inductive and heating loads. These current limiting fast-acting and time-delay fuses are available with either 250 or 600 VAC ratings, depending on type, and are UL and CSA approved. The fuse line extension also includes glass and ceramic fuses to provide fast-acting and time-delay protection for electronic needs including PLC outputs, pilot lights and other control devices. AutomationDirect is also expanding its line of fuse holders and fuse blocks.

The IntelliPoint RF Series is a RF point level switch that doesn't require users to calibrate or adjust set points. IntelliPoint's Auto-Calibration feature allows it to detect the presence or absence of a material without adjustment, making the device virtually maintenance free. The software continuously monitors the application for changes in composition, dielectric or conductivity and maintains a repeatable trip point on the probe. Since the IntelliPoint recognizes changes in material, it is ideal for non-dedicated tanks that are used for a variety of products.

AST high carbon chromium steel tapered roller bearings are comprised of four basic components: the cone (inner ring), the cup (outer ring), tapered rollers and a cage (roller retainer). The cone, cup and rollers carry the load while the cage spaces and retains the rollers on the cone. AST can supply both Through-Hardened Tapered Bearings which have a consistent hardness throughout the component and Case Hardened Tapered Bearings which have a surface hardening combined with a tough flexible core. The bearings offer dimensional stability under heavy loads, long life performance in harsh and contaminated environments, a durable steel cage and are dimensionally interchangeable.

PORTABLE PUMP

The PortaPump is easily portable because it can operate on any 12-volt truck or automobile battery. It comes with a 30' cord and is also available with an optional safe storage carrying case. It is suitable for onsite dewatering needs such as ditches, manholes and caissons. The PortaPump offers such features as 1/3 hp motor delivering up to 43 gpm (163 lpm) for rapid dewatering and instant prime. It has a low 30 amp draw for, on average, an hour of operation without restarting the engine. The impeller with topside repelling vanes keeps grit away from the shaft seal and with watertight o-ring seals, keeps the pump internals dry. The PortaPump is maintenance friendly with a self-lubricating shaft seal, bearing lubricated for life.
