The full-featured "dockable" GasBadge® Pro single gas monitor features an electrochemical hydrogen sensor option. This option will provide an ideal personal monitor to detect hydrogen in the range of 0-2,000 parts per million (PPM) in power plants, steel mills, refineries or other areas where low level hydrogen leaks may exist. The GasBadge Pro can be quickly adapted with interchangeable "smart" sensors. An Internal Release (IR) Adapter is available for the amGard range of modular safety gate switches. It provides an internal release function for safety and access key installations. The IR adapter is compatible for a Fortress Stop, a non-solenoid gate switch that will switch off the safety circuits. The amGard range combines both trapped key and gate switch technology to control access to equipment protected by safety guarding. The IR adapter provides a means of escaping potentially dangerous areas such as robot cells, cold stores and warehouse bays. If an operative becomes trapped inside an area they can use the IR adapter to unlock the door from the inside.

Fortress Interlocks

The GRACE employee monitor (GEM) solves the problem of employees working alone or in a remote area. The gem system employs a small battery operated alarm unit that is worn by the employee. This device detects lack of motion so that if a worker stops moving he/she is given a pre-alert for 8 seconds and then the alarm device emits a loud audio alarm and sends a radio signal back to the receiver (up to 1/2 mi. line of sight). The receiver uses LEDs or a liquid crystal display to indicate which worker is in trouble. It also provides a local audio/verbal warning at the receiver and has a relay contact that can activate local or remote alarms.

By including the PolyMag Additive during compounding or molded part manufacturing, enough magnetic susceptibility is imparted to enable detection in conductive products using standard metal detectors. The additives are available in a dry, free forming pellet, with a non-polymer carrier that is compatible with a wide range of resins, or in powder form for compounding.
