The latest version of the proven ANSI C integrated development environment for test, measurement and control applications, LabWindows/CVI 8.1 features new, easy-to-use distributed communication and control tools to help engineers maximize their productivity. Using the new Network Variable Library, engineers can publish and share live measurement data between test systems located on the factory floor and remote supervisory machines without the complexity of low-level TCP programming, making it easy for them to design and manage large applications that publish measurement data. The network variables also give engineers the option to remotely monitor and control applications developed in NI's LabVIEW or Microsoft Visual Studio.

ifm's programmable M18 compact speed monitor is designed for rotational speed applications up to 18,000 pulses per minute. The unit offers a pulse output for monitoring revolutions per minute and a switching output that indicates under-speed and over-speed conditions. The 4-wire DC speed monitor provides a 12mm non-flush sensing range with a three-LED status display for power, switching and input pulses. The speed monitors are suitable for simple under-speed monitoring applications such as belt conveyors, screw conveyors, pumps, turbines, blockage on bucket elevators, exhaust fans, and blowers in ventilation systems.

New Master Plates from Carr Lane are ideal for machining large thin-walled parts. Made in three sections that mount on a chuck similarly to top jaws, the plates accept a wide variety of machinable jaw segments. Master Bond has introduced a new high performance bonding, sealing, coating and encapsulation system called EP21TDC-2LO. The formulation offers high flexibility and excellent toughness. It cures at room temperatures or more rapidly at elevated temperatures. Little exotherm is developed during cure making it suitable for use in thick as well as thin sectioned configurations. It meets NASA low gassing specifications and exhibits outstanding electrical insulation properties and thermal connectivity as well as exceptional thermal shock resistance.

Specialty formulated fluorescent gold lamps provide protection for critical UV-sensitive processes. The gold lamps filter out UV emissions and wavelengths below 520 nanometers. Blocking these wavelengths is critical in sensitive areas and processes including semiconductor fabrication, photoprocessing, and research and testing laboratories. The gold lamps are shatter resistant, further protecting sensitive areas should a lamp be broken. Its plastic safety coating does not affect the line of the lamp and will contain virtually all glass, phosphors and mercury if a lamp is broken.

The iglide Z510 plastic bearing withstands extreme temperatures of up to 500°F, while delivering high resistance to pressure and retaining dimensional stability. It offers a maximum load of 43,000 psi. The iglide Z510 is oil-free and self-lubricating, so it requires no maintenance. The bearings are corrosion-free and resistant to chemicals and UV rays. Iglide Z510 is available in a variety of both metric and inch sizes and its high-load capacity makes it a choice for outdoor and heavy-equipment applications such as lift trucks, conveyors systems, construction vehicles and tractors.
