A new line of 4 1/2" heavy-duty small angle grinders (D28402, D28112, D28110) is designed with patent-pending features. Ideal for metal fabricators, welders, steam fitters, pipe fitters, these small angle grinders have the ability to cut and grind many materials including steel, pipe, tile, block, concrete and mortar. The D28402 and D28112 are equipped with a patent-pending Dust Ejection System™ which increases durability by ejecting dust particles and debris that enter the tool through the air-intake vents, reducing the occurrence of debris damaging the motor. A one-piece brush arm reduces the occurrence of the brushes getting jammed or hung up in the D28402, D28112, and D28110. This design increases productivity by eliminating jamming or hang-up of brushes by ensuring constant brush contact with the commutator.

Hougen has introduced a major upgrade to its HMD925 power feed model portable magnetic drill with the incorporation of an advanced magnetic base that develops 20% greater holding strength than prior models...yet the drill still features the same compact size and lightweight maneuverability. The increased holding power of the new magnet helps to assure optimum stability, rigidity and safety during heavy duty drilling operations. The magnetic base of the HMD925 still measures 3 1/8"w x 6-9/16"l but now develops 1680 lb. dead lift strength and 775 lb. drillpoint breakaway force on 1" thick plate and 1124 lb. and 612 lb., respectively, when tested on 3/8" thick plate.

The T-Series torque wrenches are accurate to ±3% in the direction of torque calibration, from 20-100% of full scale. Two torque ranges are available: 10-50 lbf-in and 30-250 lbf-in. Bosch announces small angle grinder airflow and motor technology improvements resulting in 40% longer life over previous models. The eight new 4 1/2, 5 and 6-inch 1800-series grinders will replace previous generation 1700-series models. Bosch engineers improved the airflow technology by incorporating additional channels at the top, bottom and sides of the Bosch 4 1/2" 1800, 5" 1801, 5" 1803EVS and 6" 1806E small angle grinders. These channels not only keep dust and debris from contaminating the inner workings of the tool -- pulling air from the back of the tool versus the front -- but they also help channel airflow to where it is needed most for maximum motor cooling. Further improvements include a new motor commutator and brush system.

ESCO Tool

The HWUR224 hand wrap/unwrap tool is made of high quality aluminum and equipped with a 1.2 inch knurl throughout the grip area. The new design also includes a relieved area behind the helix. The unwrapped wire coils into the relieved area while unwrapping and is removed by simply pulling the unwrapped wire at a right angle to the tool. The hand wrap/unwrap tool is suitable for wrapping/unwrapping 22-24 AWG wire with ease. It takes only a second to switch from wrap to unwrap by simply removing the end cap from one end to the other.
