The S-energy™ Series Compressors features an air-end design with integrated inlet valve which contributes to energy savings. The compressors also come with low package pressure drop and optimal cooling system with energy efficient low noise centrifugal cooling fan. Variable speed drive models are available. The compressors are available either in standard or encapsulated air-end models ranging from 15 to 60 horsepower with capacities of 43.7 to 267 acfm and pressures from 100 to 175 psig.

The Quincy QGS 5-15 hp series belt driven, non-pulsing, tank-mounted rotary screw air compressor is available in 5, 7.5, 10 and 15 hp with or without the optional mounted dryer. The rotary compressor achieves sound levels ranging from 62 -- 68 dBA making it suitable for any application. Standard equipment includes: belt driven rotary screw with vertical transmission for space economy; simple three step installation -- mount, wire and plumb; 5 and 7.5 hp operate with start stop control, 10 and 15 hp utilize auto dual control with timed shutdown; 100% duty cycle rated at 150 psig maximum pressure, standard control setting of 115 psig cut in and 145 psig cut out; across the line, full-voltage magnetic starter mounted and wired; manual tank drain is installed on tank foot for easy access.

Donaldson's non-cycling refrigerated compressed air dryer range focuses on reliable, constant dew point performance in all flow conditions. The space-saving small footprint of the SD Series dryer (10-40 scfm) combines energy efficiency in a compact model and includes a coloured dew point indicator to display the dryer dew point at all times. The SD series offers a one-piece brass, bypass operation that is activated in one single motion. The VF Series dryer (50 -- 2,000 scfm) delivers consistent performance from 0 to 100 percent load. The patented Variable Flow high-efficiency aluminum heat exchanger uses a three-step process to remove condensed moisture from the chilled compressed air, providing separation efficiency in excess of 98 percent throughout the dryer's entire flow range.

Especially suited for applications requiring greater pressure, the electric two-stage, vertical-tank-mounted stationary air compressors provide 175 psi and displace between 9.1 and 43.6 cfm. Each of the line's 16 models uses a heavy-duty, two-stage cast-iron pump and powder-coated, ASME certified tank. A large flywheel provides for extra-cooling and easier startup, while special unloading valves further assist the motor in starting. A directional air shroud helps reduce pump temperatures, and a thermal-overload protection feature prevents the motor from drawing too much current and overheating.

The 1100e, 1500e, and 1800e encapsulated series of compressors are available in 15, 20 and 25 horsepower. These compressors are available with Sullair's Variable Speed Drive that can efficiently adjust to changes in air demand. With the VSD, these compressors deliver energy efficiency, improved operating consistency. The air-end and motor are mounted on rubber isolators, intake and exhaust louvers have been insulated and every machine comes standard with a fully insulated enclosure. All of these engineering features allow the 1100e, 1500e, and 1800e compressors to operate at noise levels as low as 66 dba.

Sullair Corporation

The Fluid Metrics' Compressor Oil Purifier (COP), with ProACT Acid Control Technology, combines proprietary ion exchange acid adsorption with ultra fine particle filtration to remove the acids and catalytic solids known to accelerate oil degradation, wear, corrosion and fouling in rotary screw compressors. The line easily mounts onto any rotary screw compressor to purify the oil, reduce maintenance and operation costs, and increase compressor reliability. The COP is a "proactive" maintenance device that selectively removes destructive, clearance-sized solids and corrosive acids before they can negatively impact fluid and component service life.

The QSI 245i-500i direct drive rotary screw compressor is available in 50, 60, 75 and 100 horsepower. The new design features easy-access panels for faster maintenance and the use of a centrifugal fan to increase the efficiency and offer quieter operation. The QSI 245i 50 hp compressor with an enclosure operates at 66 dBA. The new package also introduces an integrated dryer option and a full-colour touch screen interface, which allows users to view real-time performance, create graphs and customized trends. The QSI PowerSync, variable capacity control option, allows the QSI to reduce its capacity to 50%, providing energy savings when the customer does not need the compressor's full output.

The GX 2-11 series compressors are available in sizes from 3 to 15 hp. These compressors shut down automatically to save energy when no compressed air is needed. Combined with Atlas Copco patented screw element and high efficiency motor, the GX offers low energy consumption and high air delivery during the entire compressor lifetime. All air treatment equipment to obtain clean, dry air is integrated within the GX Full Feature unit: 3-stage oil separation system with residual oil carry-over of less than 3mg/m3; a high performance refrigerant dryer to dry compressed air; optional general purpose or high efficiency filter kit to further clean the air. The Pack variant (P) offers all the benefits of the Full Feature, but excludes the air treatment equipment. Both variants are available as tank-mounted or floor-mounted model.

Comprevac Inc.

Donaldson's cycling refrigerated air dryers are energy efficient and meet all application requirements. The RTM Refrigerated Thermal Mass series has a cycling range of 2,500 -- 30,000 scfm. It features multiple compressors with defined loading and unloading capacities and a thermal mass storage medium for energy-efficient operation. Unlike non-cycling dryers, the Donaldson RTM series uses predetermined temperature levels to prevent the loss of energy when demand in the dryer is low.

The 3700 Series of 40, 50, and 60 horsepower compressors are available with the Sullair Variable Speed Drive -- the Sullair 3000V, 3700V, and 4500V. The Variable Speed Drive (VSD) allows compressors to easily, efficiently adjust to fluctuating compressed air demand -- either seasonal changes in demand or from shift-to-shift. The Sullair 3700V compressor provides relief from potential peak demand charges, due to its ability to adjust to changes in air demand. These VSD compressors feature a simplified WS microprocessor, low sound levels (as low as 68 dba) and a smaller footprint. Additionally, multiple engineering features have simplified routine maintenance by centralizing all maintenance areas to one side of the machine.

The Balston® MB Series Monobed Nitrogen Generators produce up to 99.99% pure compressed air at dewpoints to ­21°C from nearly any compressed air supply. The generators are designed to continually transform standard compressed air into nitrogen at safe, regulated pressures without operator attention. Nitrogen is produced through a combination of filtration and pressure swing absorption technologies. An included high efficiency prefiltration system pretreats the compressed air to remove all contaminants down to 0.01 micron. The generator is shipped compete with an oxygen analyzer to monitor the oxygen concentration of the nitrogen stream. An audible alarm signals high or low oxygen concentrations.

The corrosion-resistant construction of the Donaldson air-cooled aftercoolers maximizes heat transfer with a minimum pressure drop. To maximize efficiency, these aftercoolers use ambient air to cool the hot compressed air from air compressors, removing as much as 60% of the water vapour present. Its durable aluminum plate core design saves space and maximizes energy usage by cooling the hot compressed air within 5°F to 20°F. Donaldson water-cooled aftercoolers and separators are a suitable combination to eliminate troublesome moisture from compressed air. With proper installation of aftercoolers and matching liquid separators, systems perform effectively in maintaining trouble-free operation of compressed air equipment.
