The ecolink M12 cordset family features a "lock-in-place" coupling nut that secures the cordset to a quick disconnect sensor and prevents the cordset from detaching - even in high shock and vibration environments. The ecolink insert design acts as a mechanical end-stop that prevents possible damage to the Viton o-ring from over tightening. A 316 stainless steel sleeve with saw tooth contour protects the nickel-plated coupling nut and maintains optimum sealing. Installation is fast, and the cordset can be quickly attached either manually or by using a torque wrench. For status indication, the ecolink cordset family offers right-angle models with a bright LED status display. These models are designed with a black transparent housing that offers high visibility of LEDs from farther distances and in well-lit areas.

AutomationDirect announces the addition of 600 VAC/250 VDC heavy-duty fusible and non-fusible disconnects from Ferraz Shawmut to its list of power products. Meeting UL98 standards, the SIRCO and FUSERBLOC series are designed with the latest disconnect technology available, "make and break" power circuits under load and are UL, CSA, CE and IEC rated. A wide array of handles is available for OSHA padlocking requirements, NEMA configurations, defeater options and NFPA 79 requirements.

Just 25mm wide x 82mm long, the T2008 tongue-operated safety interlock switch is designed to provide a minimum of one million actuations in severely space restricted applications, and can be installed in one inch square tubing. 1 N/O and 1 N/C, or 2 N/C, contact configurations are available to satisfy Dual Channel Safety Monitoring requirements. The T2011 universal tongue-operated safety interlock switch is slightly longer at 25mm wide and 113mm long, but includes 2 N/C and 1 N/O, or 3 N/C contact configurations to support Dual Channel Safety Monitoring and Status Monitoring. It is small, yet extremely versatile with a glass-filled thermoplastic housing allowing the T2011 to be used in most applications while providing a minimum of two million actuations.

Coxreels' Safety Series EZ-COIL® reels, with patented controlled retraction, painted safety yellow since their inception, are now the industry standard safety reels. Beginning in 2007, EZ-COIL® models will be painted in Coxreels' signature Lustrous Blue Proprietary CPC™ Powder Coat Finish. The models will feature updated logos and labels to be easily differentiated from Coxreels' standard reels. The blue models will still have up to 80% slower retraction speed than standard spring rewind reels.
