Models 4425 and 4426 are temperature compensated, piezoresistive silicone pressure sensors packaged in dual-in-line configurations. They are intended for use in medical devices in which excellent performance and long-term stability are required, such as respirators, gas monitoring, oxygen conserves and sleep apnea machines. In addition, they are appropriate for altitude/airspeed measurement, process control, factory automation and leak detection. The 4425 features dual pressure ports on the side and offers differential or absolute pressure measurement. The tubes are parallel to the printed circuit board to allow clearance above the sensor. The 4426 features a single, top-mounted vertical pressure port, and it offers gage or absolute pressure measurement.

STANMECH introduces four new extrusion welders. These extruders, FUSION 2, FUSION 3, WELDPLAST EC4 and WELDPLAST S4, combine key features in brand new designs. They have been designed for the job of plastic welding. Their features include a twist-free welding rod feed, integrated control systems for ease of understanding and operation, and an overall ergonomic design that provides great balance and minimal weight to minimize operator fatigue. The ER Series rope pull emergency stop switches cover spans from 40m to 200m for emergency stopping capability along the entire rope length, which reduces the number of required switches per application. All models are available with an integral top-mounted, metal emergency stop (E-stop) button that provides emergency stopping capability at the switch end of the installation. In addition to the E-Stop button, ER Series rope pull switches are available with a dual-indicator LED beacon that may be wired to flash red, or glow a constant green, indicating the status of the switch. The ER1022 with 125-meter span and ER1032 with a 200-meter span are supplied with this indicator beacon in the lid. The ER6022 with an 80-meter span is available with the indicator beacon as an option.

EXAIR's new Ultrasonic Leak Detector (ULD) is a hand-held instrument that can locate costly leaks in a compressed air system. Testing the various unions, pipes, valves and fittings of a complete installation can be done quickly and effectively at distances up to 6.1 m away. High pressure air expanding to atmosphere creates high frequency turbulence that the ULD converts into an audible tone which can be heard through the supplied headphones. Background plant noise is filtered out using the three sensitivity settings of X1, X10 and X100 along with an "on/off" thumb wheel for fine sensitivity. As the ULD moves closer to a leak, more LEDs on the display light to confirm the source of the leak. A parabola attachment to pinpoint leaks and a tubular extension to mask out intense background noise are provided.

Haydon announces that their size 23 hybrid linear actuators are now available with a 0.9 degree step angle.
