Lev-co announces a new model of their Mobi-Flex portable filtration unit. In addition to all the standard features like portability, flexible extraction arm, washable spun-bound 99% efficiency polyester filter, there is the addition of a HEPA after-filter to address OSHA's new regulation regarding hexavalent chromium. The HEPA filter has up to 99.97% efficiency @ 0.3 microns. The new Mobi-Flex with HEPA after-filter has been especially designed for all manufacturing processes involving the welding of stainless steel.

The OA109AP Series 120mm AC fan with metal blades was specifically designed for harsh, rugged environments. The 115VAC fan is an economical cooling solution for chemical, process control and industrial environments. Because plastic fan blades can be susceptible to severe conditions such as high temperatures or chemical gases, metal fan blades are preferred in harsh environment applications for their durability.

Micro Air

The PowerfoilPlus High-Volume / Low-Speed (HVLS) Ceiling Fan uses hybrid airfoil technology that redirects airflow away from the floor, creating a more widespread air pattern capable of passing over obstructions. The new fan can deliver more effective coverage where facilities need it most: on their occupants. Instead of pushing air straight down, the upturned length at the end of the airfoil pushes air out at an angle. Not only can air moving at this higher angle easily pass over floor obstructions, but it also spreads farther across a space.

Big Ass Fans

Eurovac's self-locking arms provide effective methods for the capture of fumes. Contaminants are removed at their source. The use of self-supporting joints, flexible hoses and smooth bore tubing allows for easy placement of the arm's hood near the source of a problem. Fume arms are fabricated of steel with cast aluminum joints which include friction discs and are fully adjustable to the worker's desired tension. The arms include a handle which completely encircles the hood in order to facilitate easy repositioning from all sides. Applications include: all welding processes; glue fumes, grinding dusts and most airborne dusts; soldering fumes; chemical applications such as laboratories.

The Model RP-1 Twister™ compact dust collector with 1000 cfm performance features cartridge selection with a unique cyclonic drop-out design, 99.999% efficient fire retardant cartridge filter and quiet 72 DBA operation. Although measuring only 18.5" in diameter and 63.5" high, the Twister™ features the Roto-Pulse™ cartridge cleaning system which cleans 100% of the cartridge area, thus providing more efficient dust collection. The CCS (Cloud Chamber System) technology has proven to efficiently treat ultrafine and submicron particulate simultaneously with gases. Series 901 modular cleanroom walls are available in three standard designs, with custom sizes and shapes available to suit various application needs. They provide a versatile modular wall system designed for high quality cleanroom performance with fast and easy bolt-together installation. The walls are cleanroom and pharmacy compatible. The standard wall is constructed of white vinyl-covered steel. The 18 gauge steel is laminated with textured vinyl on one side and smooth vinyl on the opposite. The panels may be formed with either a smooth or textured finish to the room side. The panels are also available with an unpainted stainless steel finish, smooth or textured baked enamel, epoxy or conductive finishes. Orion Fans offers a comprehensive line of standard 3-, 6-, and 9-fan assemblies for enclosure and machine cooling applications. In addition, the company will produce custom fan tray assemblies to meet customer specifications. All assemblies feature thermal protection circuitry and heavy-duty steel construction for reliable operation. Low-noise and high-speed versions are available in both AC and DC fan trays. Designated the OAXXX Series, standard AC fan trays are available in 3-, 6- and 9-fan configurations in 110 VAC, 220 VAC or dual voltage designs. The CEC backward curved EC motorized impeller is a precision balanced air-moving device that features a compact design. It is suited to applications where space is limited. Paxton Products

This dual 12" high performance fan was designed specifically for large core applications as an after market component. Using one high performance motor and one extreme performance motor to achieve a maximum airflow of more than 2900 cubic feet per minute (cfm), the fan has a slim profile. It measures only 27" across, making it a perfect fit on many car and truck radiators. The special shroud on the fan assembly helps to improve airflow.

SPAL USA

The TM 1000 TaskMaster offers shop and plant air cleaning versatility. It is suitable for maintenance and source capture applications virtually anywhere control of pollution is required. AAF International

The SDB downdraft bench dust collector is designed for applications where workers need an integrated collection area and work surface. With a downdraft velocity of up to 100 feet per minute and air volumes up to 2,500 CFM, the SDB captures the smoke, dust and powders resulting from a variety of manufacturing operations including grinding, polishing, hand sanding and dry buffing. By drawing particles and contaminants away from the worker's breathing zone, the SDB protects workers. Removing the pollutant particles close to the source also prevents dust from migrating to areas with sensitive electrical and mechanical equipment, reducing facility maintenance.

United Air Specialists

Vortec's Personal Air Conditioners (PAC's) use a compressed air supply and vortex tube to keep workers comfortable in extremely hot environments. With no moving parts, the vortex tube spins compressed air to force a simple heat exchange that produces cold air to 60°F below the inlet temperature. The small vortex tube, worn on a supplied belt, is connected to Vortec's Diffuse-Air Vest which has a perforated lining to provide cooled air delivery over the upper body. Temperature is easily adjusted by turning a knob on the vortex tube. Both large and extra-large vests are available each featuring a collar that can be unfolded to deliver tempered air flow to the neck and face.

The GOLD SERIES® dust collectors are now offered with high performance explosion vent for applications involving the capture of explosive dusts. The new X-vent is manufactured in accordance with NFPA standards and carries CE and ATEX certifications. The multi-ribbed vent delivers a very high negative static operating pressure rating of -80" WC for enhanced performance and is designed to open up at +1 psi (30" WC).
