The model 5100 Dual-Label pallet printer applicator marries a high-performance label print engine with a specially-engineered articulating applicator to perform the printing and adjacent-side labelling of pallets in line. The system features a selection of 203- or 300-dpi print engines to handle labels up to 6.5 inches wide and 8 inches long. Systems print labels with text, bar codes and graphic images at print speeds up to 12 ips. As a label is printed, it is automatically peeled from its liner and retained by vacuum on the unit's applicator pad, which is mounted on a pneumatically-operated swing arm that reaches across the leading side of a pallet as it approaches the Dual-Label system via conveyor. A sensor on the swing-arm detects the presence of the pallet and the label is gently blown onto its side.

OMEGA offers two versatile temperature transmitters. The TX33 with loop powered RTD input is analog, non-isolated with a 2-wire head-mount which converts the RTD into a proportional, linear and highly accurate output current. It features easy calibration and low temperature drift. The TX31 is an analog, isolated miniature transmitter with isolated 2-wire head-mount that converts thermocouple input to the voltage. With an ultra-low profile design in cast aluminum housing, this sensor offers long term stability. Both are multi-range selectable and are especially useful in process control, automation systems, energy source management, oil applications, paint & spray painting and equipment maintenance.

The 120 series belt driven slides are designed to handle light loads at very high speeds. These tables use a low friction, preloaded, recirculating linear ball bearing system, which rides on precision ground linear rails. The linear rails are mounted to a precision machined aluminum base, which offers a rigid support over the entire travel of the tables carriage. The load is mounted to a precision machined aluminum carriage, which has threaded stainless steel inserts for high strength and wear life. The drive system uses two pulleys, along with a high strength, steel reinforced polyurethane belt, which provides 90mm of linear movement per revolution of the input shaft. The simple belt tensioning system allows for easy adjustment of belt tension by the user.

The RTP20 high-speed rotary transport pump features a tri-lobe design, customizable per customer specifications. Fluid Metering's pumps are used for both the chemical formulation of the slurry, as well as maintaining the mechanical properties of the slurry during the planarization process through the addition of hydrogen peroxide and D.I. water. Following the planarization process, the pumps are used for Post Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP). The pump's internal parts are made of sapphire-hard, chemically resistant ceramics which resists both mechanical wear and chemical attack. A rotating and reciprocating piston accomplishes both pumping and valving functions with one moving part.

OES developed the 3 axis stepper motor driver controlling four high torque stepper motors, with on-board controller, for a specific cutting machine application. The single board design completely eliminates any interconnecting wiring harness and the need for multiple DC voltages, increasing the working voltage to the stepper motors. Quick-disconnect terminal blocks were used for all connections, simplifying installation and removal. The design offers cross-over current protection and thermal shutdown circuitry. An advanced circuitry design allows the power supply to be optimized for stepper motor control, improving the torque and speed output to the motors.

Rittal introduces a new range of enclosures for the food and beverage industry that are specifically designed to minimize deposits accumulating on enclosure surfaces, helping eliminate any potential contaminants, which could negatively impact on customer production. Reaching the standards of IP66, the hygienic enclosures incorporate a 30° sloped overhanging roof, with a larger gap to the top of the door which allows for easy cleaning and prevents deposits from reaching the door seal. ifm efector introduces a fail-safe inductive sensor that does not require a coded magnet or keyed target for safe operation. The wear-free, one-piece solution replaces the traditional two-piece safety switch by integrating ifm's patented, non-contact inductive sensing principle that is rated up to Category 4 according to EN954-1 for safety applications. Similar to an inductive proximity sensor, ifm's fail-safe sensor can detect any standard metal target such as stainless steel or mild steel. The sensor's extended sensing range -- up to 15mm -- provides a high tolerance to misalignment and nuisance tripping in shock and vibration environments. The fail-safe sensor can be used to monitor critical safety applications that include high-speed door monitoring, open and closed valve position, machine part presence, escalators and lift position, and the travel range of robots and robotic arms.

EXAIR's new high temperature vortex tubes are ideal for spot cooling applications that are located in hot environments up to 200°C. They produce cold air temperatures down to -46°C and have cooling capacities of 135 to 10,200 Btu/hr. The tubes convert an ordinary supply of compressed air into two streams; one hot and one cold. Compressed air is the only source of power, eliminating the use of chemicals and refrigerants. Cold air temperatures are adjustable from ­46°C to ambient. The total airflow is 2 to 150 SCFM at 100 PSIG inlet air pressure. There are no moving parts to wear out, assuring years of reliable, maintenance-free operation. Seco has added a new extremely hard coating (700+ Vickers) to the cutter body of its versatile K2 ball nose cutter, which is well suited for a variety of mold and die applications from semi-finishing to heavy roughing operations. A rigid body design and a unique pocket seat with tenon that avoids placing stress on the locking screw makes the K2 suitable for unmanned production and heavy-duty roughing.
