BLAST CLEANING SYSTEM

The SmartLine™ Carousel Spinner Hanger blast cleaning system is suitable for the cleaning and shot peening of a wide variety of parts that cannot be cleaned in tumble blast or barrel blast equipment. Operator-friendly, the unit has a 1,500 pound per hook capacity two-chamber design with three position indexing. It rotates each chamber a total of 180 degrees, exposing the cleaned parts to the operator for loading and unloading while the dirty parts are being blasted.

POSITIONING SYSTEM

The new Variable Speed Positioning System (VSPS) allows the operator to easily program up to ten stopping locations, increasing the capabilities of motorized jacks. The VSPS includes a 2 Line HMI display with tactile feel push buttons used to control all aspects of the system operation and programming. The display read-out indicates the current position and preset stopping location. An enclosure mounted speed control dial allows real time speed control of the motorized jacks. The enclosure door also features an e-Stop push button and power-on indicator to allow easy confirmation of the system's power status.

The new Kee Klamp® model #351 Ridge fitting and model #350 Eaves fitting are designed for small structural building applications and provide significant load rating. In addition, they can be used together to form a truss arrangement that offers additional support. The fittings are used primarily to build storage areas, tanks, and temporary structures that can be covered by tarps. Available to fit 1 1/2" diameter pipe and galvanized for corrosion resistance, the pipe fittings both have double set screws on the truss outlet to provide additional pull-out resistance that holds structures together firmly.

CRITICAL FLUID CONTROL

Valveless Piston Pumps have frequently been chosen to perform critical fluid control functions of the fuel cell and reformer operations. The Traceable® DIGITAL CALIPERS make length/diameter measurements two ways -- outside and inside. Digital display models mea sure to 150mm (6-inches). Resolution is 0.1mm (0.01 inch). MISUMI offers an assortment of shaft collar shape types such as those with a set screw, side mounting hole, inside screw, which is a clamping cap screw, and collars with a built-in damper. Other shape types include D-shape, slit shape as well as the 2-piece separate shape and the fixing bearing shape, which locks in place the inner race of the rotary bearing. Matthews has just introduced the SCP-800 Series of inks for use with existing Drop-on-Demand ink-jet systems. Formulated to provide a strong contrast, these pigmented inks are available in light blue, yellow, and white for marking on a comprehensive range of materials, and are particularly well suited for non-porous surfaces, such as metal, plastic and rubber. The series features good adhesion, as well as abrasion resistance, and increased UV and good weathering resistance. This series of inks has been created to work with Matthews' DOD 8000 Series, Midi or Maxi, and 28 or 64mm Standard Valve Ink-Jet Printheads.

The E220 Series DC-AC inverter combines up to 12 watts of output power with ERG's unique vacuum-encapsulated design to ensure reliable CCF lamp ignition for LCDs used in outside, cold storage or other low-temperature environments. NANOFIBER FILTRATION TECHNOLOGY

UAS introduces Advanced Nanofiber Filtration Technology for dust collection cartridge filters. This technology allows UAS cartridge filters to last twice as long as cellulose and 80/20 commodity filters, cutting total dust collection costs by reducing the number of replacement filters needed. UAS filters with nanofiber technology include a surface treatment of the finest synthetic nanofibers used in any current filtration product. These fibers form a nanoscopic mesh that traps dust particles on the filter's surface, where they easily release during the cleaning cycle and lower the pressure drop over the life of the filter.

HAZARDOUS AREA VIBRATION SENSORS

Wilcoxon has developed an extensive line of hazardous area sensors. IS vibration sensors measure acceleration or velocity of ranges that monitor low frequency and general purpose uses. The 4-20 mA line of loop powered vibration sensors is available with IS and explosion proof ratings. Dynamic and 4-20mA output sensors can be ordered with a side connector for measurements in locations with a low profile. Top-exit and side-connector sensors with an integral cable are also available. An IS accelerometer and charge amplifier system measures vibrations in very high temperature applications, up to 260°C. Wilcoxon has released the first dual output dynamic vibration data and temperature vibration sensor to receive the IS certification, allowing users to measure vibration and temperature using one hazardous-area rated sensor.

DISPENSING VALVE

Weighing only 135 gm, the CV629 cartridge valve can be held in the hand without stress. Suitable for lubricants, silicones and adhesives, it is ideal for manual operations where an operator needs to apply frequent dispensing deposits. The valve is also recommended for integration in an automated system, such as an I&J Fisnar dispensing robot, where the quick change one-piece cartridge seal ensures minimal maintenance and reduced downtime. PALLET RACK

The RS pallet rack features bolted-construction upright frames and is fully compatible with the complete "Redirack" line of welded upright frames, since load-support beams connect to either style of upright frame in a similar manner. As with welded rack, RS can be fitted with a wide range of accessories, such as coil cradles, safety bars (for odd-size items) and solid decking, etc., to allow for the storage of non-palletized loads. Posts and braces are embossed with a numeric character at key points along their length to denote the specific gauge (thickness) of the steel. This feature helps installation personnel to identify and assemble frames engineered with multiple gauge components.

TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER

The T91 temperature transmitters are available with voltage or current output and in rail or head mounting versions. These analogue temperature transmitters are characterized by fixed measuring ranges for thermocouples or Pt100/Pt1000 RTDs. The T91.10 head mounting transmitters can be mounted inside any standard connection head. In addition, the T91.20 head mounting version is available for DIN form J connection heads. The T91.30 rail mounting transmitter offers a useful special feature: the sensor input and output are galvanically isolated -- regardless of the analogue construction. For this reason, the T91.30 is suitable for fast measurements even with non-insulated or base-metal thermocouples.

Pressurex®, a tactile pressure indicating sensor film quickly and accurately maps and measures pressure distribution and magnitude between any mating or contacting surfaces. The film quickly reveals force distribution occurring in problem contact areas in gasket and O-ring assemblies. It improves quality in both design integrity and production of components and products with gasketed and flanged surfaces. Pressurex® comes in the form of a thin clear plastic sheet. When placed between contacting, mating or impacting surfaces, the film instantaneously and permanently changes colour. This colour change is directly proportional to the actual pressure applied. Precise pressure magnitude is easily determined by comparing the resultant colour intensity to a colour correlation chart.
