Dow Corning's 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant is a one-component silicone sealant with non-sagging consistency that cures to form a tough and flexible rubber when exposed to moisture in the air at room temperature. Easy to apply, it provides unprimed adhesion on many substrates and is an excellent solution for a number of industrial sealing and bonding applications. It remains stable and flexible from ­60°C to 180°C, with short peaks up to 205°C.

Utilizing a formula with PTFE, Gasolia Soft-Set Thread Sealant is an easy-to-use, soft-setting paste for general industrial and fueling applications. It provides a durable, positive seal in a wide range of applications, including pipe threads, joints, fittings, hoses, nozzles, bolts, compressors, housings, plugs, couplings and more. The formula is excellent for use in and around LPG cylinders, pump, assemblies, oil burners, hydraulics, fuel lines, engine, water piping, and other areas. The sealant remains pliable in cold temperatures and is effective from -74°C to 318°C. It seals liquids up to 10,000 psi and gases up to 3,000 psi.

The Duralco™ 4463 is a low expansion, 500°F, room temperature curing epoxy which resists electricity, chemicals and moisture and has excellent dimensional stability. It is a user friendly, 100% solid system that you just mix, apply and cure at room temperature. The epoxy features no volatiles, low odour and no VOCs. It has superior adhesion to most glass, ceramics, metals and plastics and is ideal for high performance bonding and encapsulating applications.

VersaDrum™ bulk melters are designed for precise, demanding hot melt adhesive application from 200-liter drums. Customizable to accommodate a wide variety of adhesives and to meet manufacturers' specific product requirements, the new line of bulk melters are particularly well suited for reactive adhesives, such as moisture-cure polyurethanes. VersaDrum bulk melters leverage a powerful industrial PC, which provides full control of the adhesive system via a touch-screen interface, displaying messages, warnings and indicators for each operator activity and machine status condition. Because they melt only the top surface of adhesive, the melters allow the remaining material in the drum to stay solid, reducing thermal stress and protecting bonding characteristics. The DXBG Bench Dispenser is a convenient bench-top unit that offers a fast, simple and accurate solution for dispensing two-component reactive resins of a wide variety of ratios. It is a highly versatile dispensing system that allows the A & B components of flowable adhesives to be gravity-fed from separate, refillable 2-gallon containers through an integral DX dispenser. The components are then forced by metering rods directly into a disposable static mixer. This bench-top dispenser, which comes with a foot pedal actuator, allows for a hands-free operation that ensures precise mix ratios and reproducible results. The stand is fully adjustable over three axes and can accommodate a wide range of product applications.

The ThermaSeal A™ sealing film incorporates a strong and thick adhesive layer for more secure sealing of microplates in PCR and storage applications. Although shaped to fit within the rim or raised-rim plates for more reliable sealing of all wells, ThermaSeal A films can also be used for sealing standard microplates. Each film has two removable end tabs that aid in positioning the film to the plate. Recommended temperature range is ­40°C to +125°C.

Available as electric only extrusion or pneumatic electric applicator, the TEC™ 3200 and TEC™ 6300 hot melt spray gun adhesive systems let the pre-cast concrete industry use new materials, set forms faster and produce parts faster. Loctite® 3974™ is a rapid curing, highly flexible visible light cure adhesive formulation for medical bonding, potting and sealing applications. Curing tack-free in seconds, this new adhesive permanently bonds materials with differing coefficients of thermal expansion and easily accommodates substrate expansion and contraction. The low modulus, single-component acrylic adhesive cures rapidly on exposure to UV or visible light. This adhesive can be used on glass, thermoplastic and metal assemblies that must withstand extreme thermal cycling and environmental exposure. It has a Shore hardness of A70 and an elongation of 100 percent, making it suited for highly flexible components.

Now available for petroleum, industrial, transportation and other applications, Gasolia E-Seal®, a premium sealant with PTFE that was developed for ethanol-blended gasoline applications. The non-hardening, non-toxic Gasolia E-Seal thread sealant provides a positive seal on pipe threads, joints, bolts, fittings, hoses, nozzles and couplings, plus pump assemblies and fuel lines. The soft-setting sealant is safe for use on brass, copper, stainless steel, aluminum, black pipe, tin and galvanized pipe. The E-Seal provides exceptional resistance to gasoline, ethanol-blended gasoline including E10 and E85, petroleum solvents, kerosene diesel oil, BioDiesel and more.

ZipGrip® rubber-toughened adhesives are ideal for OEM assembly applications that require rapid curing, gap filling, or the bonding of dissimilar substrates. These high-viscosity, clear-drying cyanoacrylates effectively bond plastics, rubber, and metal. Easily dispersed by hand or with automatic equipment, they provide exceptional flexibility and impact resistance and can withstand service temperatures up to 280°F. Because they attain fixture strength in seconds, rubber-toughened ZipGrip adhesives eliminate the need for fixturing. Functional strength (80% of maximum) is attained in 60 minutes and full cure in 24 hours.

Weighing only 135 gms, the CV659 cartridge valve can be comfortably held in the hand without stress. Suitable for adhesives, lubricants and silicones, it is ideal for manual operations where an operator needs to apply frequent dispensing deposits. The valve is also recommended for integration in an automated system such as an I&J Fisnar dispensing robot, where the quick-change one-piece cartridge seal ensures minimal maintenance and reduced downtime. Stroke is adjustable and the valve is recommended for micro shots or fine beads. Maximum fluid pressure is 300 psi making it suitable for a wide variety of low to high viscosity fluids.
