DC OUTPUT MODULES

AutomationDirect's line of DirectLOGIC option modules includes new fault-protected output modules designed for the DL205 PLCs. The F2-16TDxP 16-channel current output modules, available in sinking and sourcing configurations, feature 16 input points, which are automatically assigned as fault status indicators for the corresponding outputs. Equipped with electronic short circuit protection, the modules detect missing external 24VDC, open load, overtemperature, and overcurrent load. The protected output modules also feature user-resettable fault condi tions.

Evapo-Rust is a water-based, environmentally friendly rust remover that eliminates flash rust in 10 minutes and deep rust in hours. Just dip your item into this reusable solution. One gallon removes rust from up to 300 lbs, or approximately 20 sq ft of rusted steel. It will not harm un-rusted steel, brass, copper, aluminum, galvanization, rubber, plastic, PVC, Viton, vinyl or clothing. No special equipment or protective clothing is required and solution is reusable.

The V28 TM Grinder provides the power, durability and portability needed to handle a wide range of applications including cutting bolt, pipe, angle iron and grinding weld beam. Nex Flow X-Stream Air Blade Air Knife is easy to mount and maintain and reduces both compressed air consumption and noise levels. It produces a "laminar" flow of air along its length using the "Coanda" effect which "entrains" a large amount of air from the surrounding area along with the small amount of compressed air from the X-Stream Air-Blade™ to produce an output flow up to 40 times. Sizes from 3" to 42". Full flow design allows you to put the units end to end for longer continuous air flows. The product utilizes stainless steel shim and bodies in anodized aluminum or stainless steel.

LPS Laboratories

The EX600 Series true RMS Clamp Meters feature an IR thermometer for locating hot spots and NCV. These four clamp meters also feature dual thermocouple inputs for T1, T2 and T1-T2 differential temperature measurement. Features of the EX600 series include a built-in non-contact voltage detector with LED alert and Data Hold plus Peak Hold of current surges during startup. For high resolution over wider ranges, the EX600 series provides 40,000 count clamp meter functions for DC voltage, resistance, capacitance and frequency.

Extech Instruments

To replace potentiometers used to measure angles and determine the location of continuously moving parts, Baumer has introduced the MDRM/MDFM non-contact magnetic sensors. Reliable and maintenance-free, these compact sensors can measure 360 degrees of rotation without a dead band. They deliver long-term performance in dirty and high vibration operating environments and feature no bearings, wiper contacts or other moving parts that wear and break down over time. The sensors feature rectangular housings with a mounting depth of just 8mm or cylindrical housings that can be installed in a variety of narrow, space restricted locations.

The new Centri-Sifter® centrifugal screener model MO-SS features a hinged end cover and three-bearing shaft that cantilevers for quick removal of internal components. External roller bearings are located at the motor end of the shaft and on a hinged cover at the discharge end for maximum support and vibration-free operation. When the end cover is hinged open, the shaft becomes a cantilever supported by a third externally-mounted roller bearing located between the motor-end bearing and material feed point, allowing internal components to slide freely from the opposite shaft end for thorough wash-down.

Kason Corporation

The 780A industrial accelerometer is narrow, low-profile and light weight, making it suitable for walk-around collection of vibration monitoring data. It is a full performance, 100 mV/g general purpose vibration sensor with a tight ±5% tolerance and a broad 3dB frequency response from 0.4 Hz to 14 kHz. The 780A was designed with a standard 2-pin, MIL-C 5015 connector so that it is compatible with the existing cabling infrastructure and fits the same connector used on the majority of industrial accelerometers. It is suitable for route-based data collection because it is small and lightweight for easy handling. This compact vibration sensor fits in areas where space is at a premium. It can also be used for permanent mounting in locations where a narrow diameter is needed.

Wilcoxon Research Inc.

The 15° spray nozzle has a narrow spray pattern which provides more impact per unit area than wider full-cone sprays and its larger droplet size makes it suitable for bottle washing, cleaning pipe interiors, and many other applications. Twenty different models are available with flow capacities ranging from 0.35 gallons per minute at 15 psi, all the way up to 685 gpm at 300 psi. Pipe sizes vary from 1/8" to 3" with both male and female connections. They are available in brass, 303 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel. Most models are available in Teflon® or other plastics.

Viking Pump's Composite Mag Drive (CMD) series of sealless, non-metallic pumps is specially designed for crucial liquid containment applications, including corrosive chemicals, volatile organic chemicals, and flammable liquids. Due to the CMD's engineered-fluoropolymer and ceramic-wetted material design and construction, the series of pumps can handle the entire pH range. Its many features include 100% renewable performance with use of Viking's recommended spare parts kit; a magnet system with a patent-pending spline design that allows the magnet to self-align while floating on the shaft with no added fasteners, self-lubricating, heavy-duty bearings with patent-bearing geometry that allow dry-run capabilities and a unique, universal flange that allows for easy installation for both ANSI and DIN flanged systems.

Hoffman announces that it now offers the 60mm Busbar System by Wohner. The 60-mm busbar system is UL508, CSA and CE recognized and designed to safely distribute power throughout a panel while conserving panel space. The busbar systems are rigid and modular, and they can distribute currents of over 1600 amps at 690V. The busbars can be cut to desired length to adapt to most enclosures and they can be positioned vertically or horizontally to optimize space. Innovative input and output terminals accommodate wire sizes to 600MCM and do not require drilling or tapping. Applications include automotive applications, wastewater operations, material handling, packaging OEMs, food and beverage, industrial ovens and industrial heating, fluid transfer and parts assembly.

The DynA family of speed control systems is designed to meet the needs of industrial crane systems by offering continuous speed control. The DynA family of products includes continuous speed control in various configurations, dependent upon the features necessary to the application. DynAC Vector and DynAHoist Vector are complete speed control systems for demanding traveling and hoisting applications. There are many options, including varied voltage control, customized displays, selectable control methods, frequency control, and modernizing options. The DynADrive, which offers a wide range of continuous speeds in compact size for traveling applications, is also available. These features can also be added to a new crane, a performance upgrade, or a modernization of an existing crane.

The Revolution line of CNC machines features the MTI Constant Velocity Controller with a minimum processing capability of 50,000 blocks per second.
