AutomationDirect has extended its RHINO™ PSP line of power supplies to include DC-to-DC converters. Available with wide input ranges (9.6 to 18 VDC and 18 to 75 VDC), the four available models can be operated from all popular DC supply voltage systems. Tightly regulated output voltage provides a reliable power source for applications such as industrial process controls, factory automation, and other equipment exposed to critical industrial environments. RHINO DC-to-DC converters can be used to isolate a specific load from the 24 volt bus voltage, and offer easy installation with snap-on DIN-rail mounting and detachable screw terminal blocks. Converters are also wall mountable with included wall-mount bracket.

HANDHELD CALIBRATOR

The CA150 handheld calibrator is intuitively easy to operate and highly accurate for source and measurement, within a 0.02% reading. The easy-to-hold vertical body and large screen display provides easy handling for all individual calibration needs. The CA150 offers a loop power supply functionality and several setting and memory functions that will store up to 100 data items. This single unit can perform the job of several conventional calibrators including operation checks at a regular inspection and maintenance of thermocouples, RTDs and instruments, as well as maintenance and equipment diagnosis of process devices such as transmitters, thermostats and signal converters. A recommended application includes a multifunction calibration platform for process loop verification. The CA150 is ideal for food processing, petroleum and chemical industries.

OMEGA

The Hannay SWCR arc welding reel is designed to handle single conductor electrode cable or groun ding lead. Current passes through a 400 amp rated rotary electrical device for efficient use with any cable length unwound. The SWCR has a heavy-duty spring motor, allowing for self-contained rewind. A non-sparking ratchet assembly locks the reel when the desired amount of cable has been payed out while a declutching arbor is provided to prevent damage from reverse winding.

The Fluke Ti10 and Ti25 thermal imagers for troubleshooting and maintenance are engineered and tested to withstand a 2m drop. The units also withstand dust and water -- tested to an IP54 rating. The intuitive, three-button menu is easy to use: simply navigate with the push of a thumb. With the Ti25 model you can record findings by speaking into the camera. Voice annotation can be recorded with every image. The Ti25 saves voice comments along with individual images for future reference. Built for tough work environments, this fully radiometric infrared camera is suitable for troubleshooting electrical installations, electro-mechanical equipment, process equipment, HVAC/R equipment and others. IR-Fusion, a patent-pending technology that simultaneously captures a digital photo in addition to the infrared image and fuses it together, is standard on both models.
