The new ThermaCAM® P660 infrared camera includes a Global Positioning System (GPS) to automatically record the location of equipment. The tagging feature uses GPS Google Earth data to "tag" the infrared images captured. This can be used to determine equipment failure patterns so problems can be avoided in the future. With a new remote feature, thermographers can extend the use of the P660 to new environments and applications by deploying the handheld Wireless LAN-based remote control and display. The remote can be used to capture and monitor equipment at safe distances. This is particularly useful in high-voltage and other dangerous areas where, for safety reasons, conductive cabling cannot be used to remotely control cameras.

FLIR Systems, Inc.

The FHDK04 series photoelectric sensor combines uniquely precise background suppression technology with a sensing range of up to 50mm. The extremely compact housing measures a tiny 4 x 6 x 45mm. Background suppression allows objects of different colours to be detected at the same distance, even in a dirty environment. Several sensors can be operated near each other without chance of crosstalk. The FHDK04 sensors also support IO-Link communication in addition to a standard push-pull output.

The efector-v inductive sensors incorporate extended sensing ranges that enable the sensor to be mounted farther away from a target preventing physical damage. The sensors are available in all standard housing styles that include M8, M12, M18, and M30 tubular housings and a standard rectangular housing. Sensors feature 360° LED status indication and are tested to high levels of shock and vibration. The efector-v cordsets feature a lock-in-place connection that secures the cordset to a quick disconnect sensor. This prevents the sensor from detaching in high shock and vibration environments. The cordset's high flex, halogen-free PUR jacketed cable is rated for over 5 million flex cycles. A special insert design prevents damage to the Viton O-ring from over tightening.

Reelcraft has modified the popular Series RT, enabling the reel to be mounted on its side, making it ideal for mounting in cabinets and other tight places. An equally heavy-duty side mount plate replaces the standard base. The stainless torsion spring and latch are mounted on the arm for ease of access and to eliminate the possibility of lath out at full extension. The guide arm is easily moved to one of four positions, using only standard tools.

Kee introduces three new GrateFix bar grating clamps to secure steel, aluminum or fiberglass grating to existing steel or supporting members. GrateFix can be installed in seconds by one person from above the grating using only an Allen Key, resulting in a simple and secure connection. No welding, drilling or access from underneath is required. The company says that GrateFix eliminates the risk of corrosion damage to steel because it clamps to the grating without penetrating the steel or supporting members.

A wide variety of strainers is designed to prevent particles and debris from interfering with spray system performance. Styles include dozens of low-, medium- and high-pressure T-strainers, simplex/ duplex basket strainers and new self-cleaning strainers for high flow applications. T-style strainers feature large open screen areas for efficient liquid straining. Designed for minimal maintenance, most models include removable bottom caps or plugs for easy accessibility to the screen assembly and a bottom pipe plug that can be replaced with a drain cock for quick-flush cleaning. Many models handle high flow rates with minimal pressure drop and a plugged top outlet for pressure gauge installation.

The Excalibur® 7018 stick electrode has been reengineered so that the flux coating on the 7018 now allows for easier striking and re-striking with a more stable arc and exceptional slag control, which is especially beneficial for out-of-position welding. The Exalibur provides a clean weld, consistent starting, quick puddle creation and no starting porosity. The unique slag system results in great puddle control and clarity.
