The MA34000 series 120 Vac off line motor/drive integral package series is a compliment to MCG's brushless series motors. The motors range from 1/5GP to 1 HP, and operate at 1750 rpm, or 3450 rpm. Features include: speed command options; fault protection; direction of rotation options; FAULT (READY) monitor output; external INHIBIT (/ENABLE) input; external fault reset; speed monitor output; TENV and IP50 environmental construction. This series consists of one frame size -- NEMA 34 -- with six standard mod els available.

Electromate

The MM300 low voltage Motor Management System delivers protection, control automation, metering, communications and advance diagnostics in a rugged compact design that fits into common NEMA and IEC Motor Control Centers. With its integrated, multiple communications protocols, advanced health diagnostics, and customizable automation and control logic, the MM300 minimizes the number of auxiliary devices and maximizes process availability. The MM300 can simultaneously communicate using Modbus (Serial or Ethernet) and either DeviceNet or Profibus DP protocols. GE Multilin

The AM3500 series servo motors have a high moment of inertia, making them well suited for machine tool axes with stringent synchronism requirements. These motors can eliminate a gear box in high inertia applications such as rotary tables. The Am3500 models are available with flange sizes 3 to 6, torques between 1.9 and 15 Nm and rated speeds of 3,000 and 6,000 rpm. Resolvers or absolute encoders (single- or multi-turn) are available as a feedback system. The standard protection class is IP64 with IP65/67 available as an option. The motor series is CE-, UL- and CSA-listed.

Beckhoff Automation

Emerson's new product offerings are HwN Series 3000 Helical Worm gearmotors and MbN Series 3000 Helical Shaft Mount gearmotors. The HwN 3000 is available in frame sizes 30-35. The MbN 3000 is available in frame sizes 32-35. Both products match critical mounting dimensions of common brands. The new MbN 3000 adds a new screw conveyor drive version. A screw conveyor drive version has been added to the OtN 3000 line. All the new products include: compact quill style C-face input with nonmetallic liner, patented reversible bushing system available for all hollow shaft units, and available top mount input.

The standalone eZMP SynqNet® Controller integrates precision motion with a flexible, expandable, and upgradeable industrial computer capable of autonomous machine control and user interface operation. It supports up to 64 axes of motion and up to 17,000 points of I/O control and has Ethernet, USB, Video, and PCI connectivity. The eZMP is also a SynqNet motion network master for fast, safe and proven plug and play machine tool, general robotics and specialty machine applications.

The Planetary Gear Train Pancake Motor comes in a very thin package. Just 18.5mm thick and 80mm in diameter the motor is built using a gear train that is built inside the motor. The motor is available with a 3.75° step angle, 4 to 1 gear ratio, and provides up to 120 oz inches of torque (85 Ncm). The motor is ideal for applications with limited space, requiring accurate positioning and high torque.

Haydon Switch & Instrument, Inc.

According to the company officials, when properly applied, the newly released BFK458-L is guaranteed for 10,000,000 cycles or two years of service life. The series BFK458-L are spring applied brakes that are released by applying DC voltage to an electromagnetic coil. Applications include stopping and holding duties in rapid, high cycling operations. The brakes are constructed with a cast iron casing. There are four sizes in the range, with rated torques from 4 to 46Nm; shaft sizes start at 10mm and go up to 25mm and brake coils can be supplied for 24V low voltage connection or rectified mains at 103, 180 and 250V.

Lenze-AC Tech

The SPiiPlus SA Series stand alone multi-axis motion controller provides high resolution and high-speed motion without compromising accuracy and throughput. The motion controller supports a wide range of motion modes, including point-to-point, jog, segmented motion, master-slave and arbitrary path with PVT cubic interpolation, on 2, 4, 6 or 8 axes of motion. As a result, the STAC6 easily integrates on a machine with other devices such as sensors and PLCs. The SinCos® SEK52 Servomotor Feedback Systems with HIPERFACE® Interface feature a simple design that eliminates components that tend to wear, increasing reliability and uptime, while reducing power consumption. They are ideally suited for use in applications that need high performance precision feedback in a compact package. The SEK52 features integral scanning to automatically compensate for eccentricity errors common to standard motor feedback systems and provides high-resolution performance with 512 steps per revolution, and 16 sine/cosine periods per revolution. They are housed in a compact 14mm rugged metal housing that is resistant to dirt and moisture, as well as shock to 100 g (10ms) and vibration to 20 g (10...2000Hz).

Sick Stegmann, Inc.

This hydraulically actuated, single opposed piston, caliper disc brake is suitable for a variety of applications including underground shuttle vehicles, log skidders, industrial slicing machines and other industrial equipment. Model PD1473 is designed to produce medium torque ranges and requires the caliper and disc to be on fixed mountings. Multiple calipers can be used on a single disc to proportionately increase the torque output. Flexible mounting alternatives are available to accommodate numerous vehicles and equipment types while optional seal materials offer compatibility with all actuation fluids and temperatures. Additionally, the PD 1473 brake is available with retracting springs and automatic adjusters that are ideal for high-speed applications.

Adalet announces a new line of explosionproof manual motor starters for hazardous and industrial areas. The MS2000 line of explosionproof manual motor starters include the Cutler Hammer A302 series starters and are available in sizes rated up to 25 amps. Features include easy to operate pushbutton actuation with a lock out provision to lock the manual motor start in the off position.
