Single- and multi-station manifolds are now available for use with Clippard's Oxygen Clean series electronic valves. These manifolds offer either single- or double-sided mounting in oxygen-compatible electroless nickel plated brass material and feature 1/8" NPT input ports and #10-32 outlets. Available in 1- through 12-stations, these new manifolds provide easy access for grouping valves, fittings or other pneumatic components.

Clippard Instrument Laboratory, Inc.

The S12 Series Electrohydraulic Brake Valve (EBV) uses the MICO patented auto-relieving feature to get more travel and flow capacity out of the proportional solenoid valve. The brake valve reliably handles the high flows without the complexity and orifices associated with pilot-operated fluid power valves. The S12 incorporates a longer spool to incorporate a second flow path -- which runs parallel to the standard path -- giving the new series a higher flow capacity from brake to tank. These features make the valve suitable for spring-applied, hydraulic release brake applications requiring high flows.

MICO Incorporated

These Ball-Style Diverter Valves are built for multiple source convergence and multiple destination divergence of dry materials in either pressure or vacuum modes. The 3-way, vortex design is available in seven configurations to accommodate a wide range of piping layouts and the valve's actuator rotates up to 135 degrees for maximum installation flexibility. They are suited for use in conveying applications at high pressures (to 80 psig) and high temperatures and provide performance in semi-dense, dense, and dilute phase systems.

Cyclonaire Corporation

These rugged airlocks are available in customized fabricated and machined models for pneumatic systems, gravity feeds, and volumetric discharge devices. Fabricated models handle dust collection, plastics, feeds and corrosive chemicals where pressure differentials are 20" of water column or less. Urethane wipers provide a tight fit between fabricated rotors and housings. Machined Airlocks have cast housings for added durability and are designed for high pressures as well as difficult and abrasive materials. Both models offer carbon and stainless steel rotor and housing options.

Complete system of Kurt spiral hydraulic hose & couplings handle pressures to 6000 psi with rugged corrosion resistance. These couplings feature a precision machined internal ferrule that crimps and tightly locks into any type of spiral hose for a secure leak-proof fit. Designed to eliminate leaks in hydraulic systems, these spiral hose and coupling systems are suitable for industrial applications including construction machinery, mining and plant maintenance equipment. These hose and coupling systems are designed to handle sub-zero through high temperature applications.

Kurt Hydraulics

The Neles® RotaryGlobe valves are small-bore control valves that operate at pressures up to ASME 1500 class. They are designed to control a wide range of process liquids, gases and vapors in general, difficult and even severe service. Applications span the petrochemical, chemical, biofuels, refining, power generation and pulp and paper industries. They have the ability to change flow properties even after the valve has been installed. A single valve design can be used for a variety of applications. Other features include anti-blow-out protection and the ability to change and maintain actuators during process operation, if needed.

Metso Automation

AST offers a line of pressure sensors with high pressure ratings to 60,000 psig (4,000 bar) that offer high accuracy pressure measurement and long life in the abusive environmental conditions of hydraulic systems. Typical applications for the AST47HP pressure sensors include pumps and accumulators, valve controls, test stands, hydraulic lifts and booms as well as high-pressure wells, hydraulics and down hole instrumentation. A sealed housing free of silicone oil, welds or O-rings eliminates the chance of sensor contamination from outside media such as rain, ice and high-pressure washdown. Units also possess high proof and burst pressure rating due to a stainless steel con struction.

American Sensor Technologies

The LP 750 Series of 19mm diameter hermetically sealed position sensors offer an infinite cycle life to serve as long-life replacements for failing potentiometers in a wide range of industrial position measurement applications such as machine tool positioning, hydraulic cylinder positioning, valve position sensing and automatic assembly equipment. They are suitable for long stroke applications where sensor length needs to be essentially the same length as the stroke of the device. Because the sensors are constructed entirely of stainless steel and hermetically sealed against hostile environments to IEC standard IP-68, units can operate in harsh and corrosive environments.

Macro Sensors

NB ball splines have recirculating steel balls on the side of the outer race that are designed for high speed rotation and to eliminate backlash. They are suitable for applications that may require both linear motion and torque transmission from robotics to transport equipment. Available in 16 standard and customizable shaft sizes with diameters from 4mm to 100mm, there are seven different nut styles. The large surface of the ball contact with grooved shaft results in high load capacity. The series is suitable for high-speed motion and high-speed rotation.

NB Corporation

High strength Plastalloy™ magnets can extend the service life of drive trains, hydraulic lines and metalworking equipment by capturing metal filings, chips and other ferrous materials which would otherwise damage downstream components. Available in various configurations, including custom designed Chip Collector Magnets or embedded in Magnetic Drain Pipes, these magnets work in temperatures to 150°C. They are oil resistant, and are suitable for the extremes of automotive applications, as well as for hydraulic lines, off-road vehicles, metal working applications and fluid recirculation systems.

The valves include comprehensive PLC control panels to eliminate the material spills, switching errors and safety hazards typically associated with manual hose manifold stations. Control options include DeviceNet™, Prof-bus-DP™ and a variety of other communication protocols. Available in 50mm to 200mm pipe or tube sizes, the diverters can route non-abrasive-to-moderately abrasive materials, such as granules, pellets, and powders, from multiple sources to multiple destinations safely and efficiently. Systems are available pre-engineered, pre-assembled, pre-plumbed, pre-wired or they can be custom built to suit the project.

Vortex Valves North America

The P1G pneumatic cylinders are fully threaded on the outside, allowing them to be screwed into bores in tools, machine stands, etc. Because they require no additional space, they virtually disappear into the machine/equipment. The P1G cylinders are supplied complete with one piston rod nut and two lock nuts for easy installation. The cylinders are single-acting and available with 6, 10 and 16mm bore sizes. Each of the P1G cylinders is available with a choice of stroke length: 5, 10 or 15mm. Working pressure range is 7 bar maximum to 2 bar minimum and the operating temperature range is ­20°C to +80°C.

New EVDR Series controllers are rugged, compact and easily programmable to optimize hydraulically-actuated machine and vehicle control functions. Dedicated models are available for fan drive and clutch engagement control. Plug-in style models are designed for single-coil or dual-coil valve control. Multi-I/O models for stand-alone or slave logic operation are housed in IP67-rated box enclosures. RS232 and J1939 CAN communications are supported, depending on model selected.

HydraForce Inc.

Parker Instrumentation has extended the applications potential of its 'push-fit' fluid connectors for high-pressure industrial applications. Eight new variants allow the 20,000 psi (1,379 bar) rated connector to be used on larger metric and imperial tubing sizes of 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 25mm and 3/4 and 1 inch. This extends the potential of this innovation from current small bore applications into many new areas such as high pressure hydraulic systems, steam and gas services and supply lines in factories, plants, power stations and ships, and high performance test equipment. Assembled by means of a simple push-fit operation, the Phastite connectors provide permanent connections for high-pressure fluid systems.

Parker Instrumentation

The new heavy-duty torque arm features a pneumatic cylinder to assist movement of heavier tools. Additionally, they securely maintain tool location while allowing easy, smooth movement of assembly tools in both up-down motion and 180° side-to-side motion. The arms also help absorb torque to reduce the potential for operator injury to arm, wrist or hand. The torque arm can accommodate both inline pneumatic and inline electric drivers with maximum weights of 15 lbs and maximum torques of up to 110lbf*in. It mounts easily to bench tops via bolts or optional bench clamp which eliminates hole drilling. The end-of-arm tool holder allows the operator a full grip of the driver with no pinch points.

Lubizol® 6776 prevents varnish buildup in hydraulic systems. It uses new Clean Technology and provides excellent oxidation life to help extend oil life and prevent varnish formation. High-level thermal stability helps to minimize varnish formation. Lubrizol 6776 is particularly suited to hydraulic applications where high temperatures -- mobile equipment, plastic injection molding machines, glass transfer systems, heavy presses, etc. -- can be problematic and compromise the oil's life. It is also suitable for equipment owners who want to extend the life of their oil and their equipment, including valves, filters and pumps.

The Lubrizol Corporation

The 3MA Series and 4MA Series of rod lock cylinders are designed to hold loads in a static position when air pressure is removed from the system and are ideal for clamping, load holding or emergency stop (E-stop) applications. Available in seven bore sizes, 3MA cylinders have strokes in any practical length and a variety of rod diameters. 3MA cylinders have an operating temperature range of ­23°C to 74°C and a maximum operating air pressure of 250 psig. The unique 1.125" bores includes a hydraulic version (Parker 3ML Series) with a maximum operating hydraulic pressure of 1,100 psig.

Kurt Teflon® Hose features reinforced stainless steel braid with white extruded Teflon® inner tube meeting SAE 100 R14 specifications.
